  1. because it allows you to watch the vid without opening up a new tab/window on your browser yes, yes I know: are you that lazy you can't just close the tab/window when you are done with the video? the answer is no, but I do find it convenient.
  2. That was a rifle arm for Nix. way2go Rolen
  3. Holy Frack, Garrett Jones just hit that ball to Neptune.
  4. why does that guy have to be a Cardinal. damnit.
  5. because I proposed it obviously
  6. damn, that really is brutal
  7. who was that girl that old fish-mouth was with?
  8. I wish we had gotten Granderson. I do like Byrd though. Beckett throwing meatballs
  9. I really wish we had it on this site.
  10. Don't guess Jason Campbell was the answer. McNabb won't be either though. They should still draft a QB at some point in this draft.
  11. only gonna do this once Fred, I PROMISE http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh153/OleMissCub17/ztcat.gif
  12. Most other forums have this now. I don't guess the software we use supports it.
  13. mlb.tv will make you want to punch a wall many times this year. The worst are the regional blackouts, many of which make no damn sense whatsoever. For some reason I couldn't ever watch the Cubs when they were in St. Louis or Cincinnati even though I'm in freaking MISSISSIPPI. Oh ya, and you can't watch any games on Saturday unless they start after 8pm or something stupid like that.
  14. ESPN games aren't on MLB.tv
  15. Troy Glaus will be the 11th different Braves opening-day first baseman in past 12 years. LaRoche is the only repeat sounds like our 3rd base situation before Aramis (except that was like 20 different or something)
  16. For the most part, a 30 year old with a career WHIP of 1.4something and 93 ERA+ over 159 starts isn't going to suddenly become good. Perhaps we can catch fire twice though. Before we put him back in the rotation at age 31, Dempster was sitting at a 1.567 WHIP and 86 ERA+ in his previous 156 starts. So technically Silva's career as a starter was better than Dempster's was before he got put back in the rotation. We are the Cubbies, so I doubt we'll be that lucky.
  17. but it's the Sawkx and the Yankees!!!!! so exceptions must be made.
  18. guess I'll blow the dust off this thread and shoo away the tumbleweeds. Drew Pomeranz for Ole Miss has been pitching like a madman this season. His season stats so far: 4-0, 1.23 ERA, 36.2 IP, 23 hits, 5 ER, 11 BB, 58 K Last Friday against (then No.2 Florida) he went 7.1 IP, 5 hits, 1 ER, 2 walks, and 9 K's.
