You are right on that last point. Other than being an awesome pitcher, Strasburg is uninteresting. Harper most certainly isn't.

Perhaps he should have used 1000 disclaimers to say that he isn't directly comparing the two, but how is what he said incorrect? Harper's scrutiny is light years below that of Jackie, but it's probably true that he is the second most scrutinized newcomer.
