    Yeah I think it's pretty safe to say that it IS the reason why they wear uniforms. fwiw, the last four player-managers were Pete Rose 84-86 Don Kessinger - 1979 Joe Torre - 1977 Frank Robinson - 1975-1976 The last Cubs player/manager was Phil Cavaretta from 51-53.

    Not surprising Apparently 80 year old Jack McKeon is a frontrunner to replace him. What's cool about that is that he claims that if he does manage again he'd wear a suit instead of the team uniform. The last manager to of course do that was Connie Mack. Be cool to see a dude in a suit stroll out to the mound to take a pitcher out.

    Disagree. If he was the only man on base or if it was in the 8th or something, then sure. But if the next batter up got a hit they'd have scored two and taken the lead.

    no isht. And the way they are brown-nosing Nunez is pretty obnoxious too. His minor league numbers throughout his career are pretty mediocre. Not sure about all the hype other than the fact that he is a Yankee.

    as someone who has had my share of issues in the past with imb!, I don't see why he shouldn't be allowed to post in social. It's his 8th birthday today on NSBB btw. He deserves a present for his longevity.
