  1. SEC East about to be out of the playoffs.
  2. Yes, I get their ranking as well, but in reality they are wildly overrated. Their defense is garbage and Dak is good but he can be stopped and is actually only an average passer. They do have a knack for jumping out to huge leads, which certainly helps. The Auburn game was one of the flukiest things I've ever seen. Auburn literally spotted them 14 points in the first TWO MINUTES of the game. We all see what hot garbage A&M is this year, so that win in Starkville isn't that impressive. The LSU win in Baton Rogue was legit, but this LSU team is extremely young and that was very early in the season. If they played them again at this point in the season I don't think that would be the result. Arkansas won't beat them in Starkville, but they'll VERY likely lose to Bama in Tuscaloosa and will likely lose in Oxford to Ole Miss.
  3. For being the "top defense" in the country, Louisville couldn't tackle for crap last night.
  4. They don't bother me that much. I think it's clear that they are currently not a top 4 team. How is it clear? Because they don't play 60 great minutes every week? They still have the best player in college football, loads on NFL talent, and haven't lost a game in like 2 years. They aren't in the SEC. I'd respect them more if they were in any other power 5, not just the SEC. The ACC is a complete joke. I'm not arguing they aren't a good team fwiw, they're just a loathsome crew.
  5. Not since Miami's heyday has there been a more loathsome team than FSU.
  6. Mississippi State's offense would curb stomp the Noles defense.
  7. Obviously there are other factors that helped Ole Miss with their rank, but they didn't seem to hold the LSU loss against them, so I think quality of loss may be something they factor.
  8. Dan Uggla is going to get a WS ring as a reward for his 12 AB's, 0 hits, 6 strikeouts, and 2 errors that he contributed to the Giants this year.
  9. Without question.
  10. Ole Miss' offense will look absolutely nothing like it did against LSU. I have zero clue what the hell any of that was against LSU. Never seen anything like that under Freeze. I guess they were just trying to control the clock or something but running 25 draws straight up the middle with a 160lb running back is something that I'm guessing won't be attempted against Auburn. Look for the Rebels to throw it a ton and with more success than they had against LSU. Wallace went full potato during that game, something he hasn't done all year up to that point (save for the first half of the season). I don't anticipate him having two games in a row like that, especially since this game is at home. Also, from what I've seen, Auburn's running game is a lot different than LSU's. LSU just pounds the rock up the middle whereas Auburn seems to use the outside and misdirection plays more. The Rebel defense is built to stop that type of run game with their speedy LB's and safeties. Ole Miss hasn't given up more than 20 points in a game in their last 10 games, but I think that streak ends Saturday. It'll be a shootout and Auburn will win in the end. Malzahn has more of a killer instinct than Freeze does. 27-24, Auburn.
  11. The Auburn v Ole Miss game this Saturday may be, in a sense, the first real playoff game of the year. The loser is almost certainly eliminated.
  12. Literally every other major American sport has an overly inclusive playoff system. We can't just have one that isn't? They would never go past 8 because of the additional number of games and all that. If you don't think an 8 team College Football playoff wouldn't be fun as hell to watch, then you're a communist and hate puppies.
  13. Eh, if you are so concerned about bowls then expand it to 8 and you'll have 7 bowls that really matter. A quarter-final Cotton Bowl is 100 times more intriguing and will have many magnitudes more viewership as opposed to it just meaning nothing except bragging rights. Under the BCS bowl system, every bowl except one was an also-ran.
  14. I'll enjoy it while it lasts.... Saturday is an elimination game for us and Auburn.
  15. The guy was talking about the coverage by the media. The scandal and all that didn't blow up until the season was underway and he was actually playing for one of the top ranked teams and that's why it was such a huge story. Auburn didn't really become a story til the end of the season. But indeed, it's definitely apples to oranges.
  16. Written by a Florida State grad. Who decided not to disclose that in this piece. That's not to say his points are without merit, because they aren't, but I find that suspicious. Comparing the coverage of a two year old misdemeanor charge against a DB turned QB to a rape investigation against a Heisman winner is completely disingenuous as well. Thought he was comparing nick Marshall to jameis. Which is more fair but if Johnny football had a rape allegation espn woul have gone nuts SEC network notwithstanding. Marshall was a DB

  18. I feel for it. My thumb couldn't hit the thread fast enough.
  19. Kenny Hilliard is a grown ass man
  20. It'll be 8 eventually
  21. lol, those people are nuts
  22. Ole Miss opens as a 3 point favorite. Auburn has a deficiency at defensive end this year. They are ok against the run , but the DEs are not getting a pass rush, so I imagine Bo Wallace will have a decent night through the air. It should be a good game. Depends on if Freeze lets Wallace have a good game. This entire season Freeze has basically been playing not to lose because the defense is so incredible. So his offensive play calling is almost ludicrously conservative given the many weapons they have offensively. However, I think he will open it up against Auburn.
  23. Who Dat?.....lol....
  24. Yay, I get to watch Freeze run it up the middle 30 times for a net 2 yard gain against Auburn this weekend. Ole Miss' 10 games streak of holding opponents to 20 or fewer points will end this weekend.
