    I included all of that in my post. Although, the luxury boxes was calculated into the average cost of a ticket. Maybe I'm way off on the average cost of a ticket? Clearly, Cubs brass feel like they can afford a $140m salary, so it must workout in the long run. But, I would have to imagine that's at the very top end of what they can afford and still turn a profit. Do not forget what teams are making off MLB.com. I believe each team is getting around 30 million a year and I do not think that number is going anywhere but up.

    So they drop the writers and broadcasters from the veterans committee and Ronny is farther away now than last year. Seems the players are the problem not the writers and broadcasters.

    The big reason Santo should have good chance at getting is that the number of players available for people to vote has been reduced from 30 to 10.

    I need to learn how to use my SW from the fairway on like 60-80 yard approaches. I use my PW but dial it down to like 1/2-3/4. Id like to be more consistant with a full SW. Why not get a gap wedge? Hmmm i forgot i had a gap wedge in my bag. From what i remember the gap wedge i have is in between the PW and 9I, im going to go double check. I maybe in line for a new club. I think its the bounce of my SW that is giving me the inconsistency compared to the PW. So if you were to use your SW from that 60-80 yard approach, what problem would you have? Accuracy? Length? Both? The length is inconsitent, i dont hit it as square. When i hit it good and square i get the right distance but if i dont it doesnt go as far or i will blade it more than i would a PW. I can feel the club bounce of the grass and then hit it thin or even blade it, thus its hard for me to be consitent on the distance. The gap wedge i bought like 8 years ago i think is a 48 so that might not be enough so i may need to go higher now that i better. I bought one of the PureSpin wedges thinking it would be awesome to spin the ball, yeah little did i know how freaking hard that is to do and its not as easy as the guys on the commercial made it out to be. #-o I have the same issue with my SW I seem to scoop it often. I do use a 50 degree GW it is my 100 yard club.

The Clippers are going to be formidable if B-Dizzle, Brand and Kaman can stay healthy. I was disapointed to see Eric Gordon go to the Clippers now it looks like it will be a nice place for him. Should be pretty good situation for him I would think. BE interesting to see him in a situation where he isn't the man. Most guys that come into the NBA so young are either #1 or 2 options or development projects. Gordon is not a project, and he'd be the 4th option on that team. I always thought the Clippers would be a great fit because he could pretty much do whatever he wanted on a horrible team. It seems like a better fit for him long term gives a chance to develop he has alot of things to work on needs to really work like his ball handling. Plus with Baron Davis on the team they won't expect him to be a point gaurd.

    During Fontenots at bat before he hot the home run I looked up at score at the top of the screen it said 6 to 0. It was quickly changed back to 3 to 0 then he hits the home run on the next pitch.
