  1. Nope. But this Blues team is especially difficult to root for...even for a Blues team. Eh I haven't followed them closely this year but Backes was always my most hated Blue and now he's on the Bruins. Add Backes to Marchand and it is pretty hard to cheer for. At least Lucic is gone
  2. You can't root for Marchand. Nope. But this Blues team is especially difficult to root for...even for a Blues team.
  3. I would have a hard time rooting for any team with Brad Marchand. But the Blues....man this sucks
  4. Is it me or does Joe seem very reluctant to pitch Chatwood? It seems he has earned a bit more trust
  5. Yu was great, and he should've had 6 shutout innings had we not apparently decided to have Russell play 20 feet from third base for that easy ground ball with 2 outs in the 6th. the triple that followed was not exactly hit well either.
  6. I really do not understand either of these guys. The first is highly over-rated and about as opposite of Beilein as you could get. Plus Texas is not some rinky dink school. Its not like Michigan is a step up for him in facilities and donors and such. The second one was involved in one of the biggest scandals in NCAA history. Seems not like the best idea, especially going back to where the scandal happened. I'm pretty sure Howard was not found to be involved in the scandal. He was even allowed to keep his all american honor despite the rest of UM's season and accomplishments being wiped out. Unrelated not but to set the record straight, Jalen Rose was also not found to be involved. My bad, I thought it was all the fab five except Rose and some guys after like Tractor Traylor

  8. I am not sure how I could have been more shocked by a CBB story this morning. Good for Beilin though. Really seems like a class act, as a MSU fan I will miss him. He made that rivalry a lot of fun the last few years
  9. Bulls were very close to making the NBA finals without Jordan. NBA has always been a top heavy league. How many times has there been a champion that wasn't one of the pre season top 4 teams? That random year the Pistons won is the only one I can think of.
  10. It's sadly pathetic that I'm shocked when they don't have that horsefeathers all over their twitter feed I fully expect them to be attending games regularly playing the 'Circle Game' in some sort of stick it to those snowflake liberals move
  11. That’s ironic since he spent three years grounding out to second. This is just complete perception. When Heyward was with the Braves and Cards I always thought he was most dangerous when he was pitched away and sending balls to center and left center. It felt like that never happened his 1st 3 yrs here
  12. I am going with the Lightning and the Jets. I just have always likes Tampa for some weird reason, more so when Yzerman was the GM. Jets are a fun team to watch in my opiniion
  13. To be honest....the offense hasnt been great shakes since Texas either. Hard to see that with the pitching woes being so bad
  14. 2000-2001 and 2010-2014 were almost all of my misses.
  15. I dont think there was anything overly shameful. My first glance on Sunday I thought UCF was getting shafted, but in retrospect it wasnt that bad.
  16. Do you want to start a Conquer Club game? Ha. I used to play there. I never played again after one game lasting several years...a game that I pretty sure CCP was involved in.
  17. Thanks! I don't get to follow the team as closely as I used to. I still am around a decent amount, but don't feel like my opinions are informed enough at this point to be of any value. That's the hard thing about baseball, it's hard to have a middle ground between casual fan overreacting to the last thing they saw and super informed fan who can critique each decision because they know all the variables that go behind it. Do you want to start a Conquer Club game?
  18. To me, It looks like the committee was more concerned about who teams lost to than who they beat. I really didnt mind that MSU got a 2 seed, it"s being in the toughest bracket that bothers me....while Michigan is probably in the easiest bracket
  19. I am struggling to understand exactly why everyone is so down on the Cubs..but thats just me. I think at least 93 wins.
  20. probably a dumb question. Why are teams listed in different quadrants? Example. Iowa is a Quadrant 1 against Michigan but a Quadrant 2 vs MSU
  21. the Cardinals of the last few years remind me some of the 04-07 Cubs
  22. I wonder if the players budget was already set before the Cubs picked up Hamels option? Or was Theo and Jed under the idea it was going to be more, than the Ricketts came in late and drew a hard line on salary. The tone of the off season sure did seem to change quite a bit from how it started to where it ended.
  23. Izzo was a mile ahead of Beilien yesterday....I can rarely say that so I was pleased Izzo's Spartans have won more often than not against Beilein's Wolverines. Izzo has had way more talent...Beilein often out coaches Izzo.
  24. Cool story bro Izzo was a mile ahead of Beilien yesterday....I can rarely say that so I was pleased
  25. Sneakypower and UofM fan are.
