I saw something that said they are 7-1-1 in their last 9, which seems fake but I can't recall them losing very much lately. I watched both of the games against the Wings. The Hawks won both, but I really cant say they outplayed Detroit. And Detroit is bad.

Even just looking at traditional counting stats, how did he beat Winfield. LOL at winning MVP with 126 games played and 471 plate appearances. He was the main dealer on the 79 We are Family at the Coke Fest Pirates.....MVP

It wasnt just a consistent pass rush. It was a contained pass rush. TB did not allow Mahomes to roll left or right or step up. A team can get all the pressure they want on Mahomes, but if he is allowed to step up or roll out it doesnt do any good, he is too good on the move. They forced him backwards, which probably did more harm than good for Mahomes. He would have been better off just making a quick read and throw. TB plan had Mahomes tendency to escape too early really working against him.

Doesnt do us any good. We keep getting screwed in the lottery. The Wings have gotten most of the Cap space cleared where Holland was way to generous to mediocre players who were 4th liners on their better teams. And are actually getting legit talent in their system. Be several more yrs is my guess though. The defense is mostly 3rd pairing at best guys

I felt the same and have basically given up on that line of thinking. The fact that I had to watch the utterly toast Cam Newton play a huge role in bringing me to that conclusion makes it even more painful. I cant think of many coaches who would have stuck with Brady his rookie year going into the Super Bowl when Bledsoe was healthy. Maybe more so now, but that was a really bold move back then that most coaches wouldnt have made. -

Its in the B1G interest to have OSU in the playoffs. Truth is if the situation was reversed I think they would have put Indiana in the Championship game also. I think the real crime is a 5-0 Indiana probably wouldnt be in the top four currently, even if they beat OSU

losing len hurt me more than any chicago athlete leaving ever has. i guess we all just assumed that he would be here for a very long time. when was the last time the Cubs lost or any other Chicago team lost a real stud in their prime? I was really bothered when the Cubs lost Maddux. I wasnt shocked because everyone knew it was coming. It still bothers me that the Cubs screwed up so bad with a HoFer and then have the audacity to retire his number. I think the thing with Len is the shock of it. You always get the sense that relationships are ending no matter what level they are on. This completely floored me.

I had all but lost interest in the NBA pretty much after Jordan retired. I wasnt a Bulls fan but it was very interesting. I started watching again as my kids became teens because they were into it. I find NBA as enjoyable know as I ever did in the 80s and 90s

I thought it was telling when all the OSU players who opted out came back, but Michigans still stayed away. I dont think OSU out recruits Michigan by much, but their players develop better and are more committed.

After everthing going so wrong last week against Rutgers, Sparty played a real simple game and really kind of dominated. IMHO. B1G is a mess

As a Red Wing fan, I think staying loyal to aging players will lead to disaster that will take yrs to get out from under. This is the 1st off season the Wings have actual cap room. I am not sure I know Bowmans plan, but staying the course would be silly.
