I think ND is the second best team with Clemson and Georgia close behind. Not an argument for playoff seeding, just my opinion, man.

I really don't want Willson having to learn a new position other than maybe backup 1B in addition to solving whatever his plate issues were last summer. -
Yeah, without having gone game by game through the schedule, I’d say OU gets the nod. The problem for OSU is Oklahoma was already four spots ahead, got a good road win this week and will have a chance at a better win than OSU next week. Even if OSU blast NW like they did Wisconsin a couple years ago and OU looks terrible and wins by 3, I’m not sure it would be enough. I know they aren't supposed to base things on this, but there's a chance to pit the 1-2 guys in the Heisman race against each other in the playoffs....they have to go OU. OU simply looks like a better team than OSU to me, defense be damned. Yeah, but that Sooner D is baaaad.

As I have mentioned, there is no way the NCAA keeps Bama out of the playoff. BS holding call, then Unsportsmanlike against Gus.

This isn’t last year. Voters have viewed BAMA on a different level all season, and one loss won’t kick them behind either the Big10 or Big XII champs, must less both. If anything, sneaking into the playoffs and winning it all last year only bolsters their case.

The is not a scenario that exists where a 1 loss BAMA team is kept out of the playoff. They will find any rationale they can to put them in.

Unstoppable? Come on now. We’re not actually upset about losing Dez because you can’t really miss something you never had. It’s just “sweet we got Dez...oh...damn. Oh well” I'm extremely salty about Carolina being probably the 3rd best team in the NFC and yet already having pretty much locked in a road playoff game already That loss Thursday night was big. You have to think the Saints at worst will split the 2 games vs Carolina. I absolutely can see a scenario where they play each other 3 times in a 5 week span. The Saints are pretty much unstoppable on offense if they stay healthy. I just hope Trequan Smith can continue to develop and take some heat off of Thomas.

Michigan will make it if they win out and won't if they don't. Yeah I think LSU loses this week and 1 of Michigan or OSU wins out and gets in and it’s Bama, Clemson, ND, Mich/OSU ultimately Do not be surprised if Georgia beats BAMA in the SEC CG. No way BAMA is left out of a playoff, so that would be 2 SEC teams in.
