You may well be right on Brady, but I might have said the same thing about Brees a few years ago. It’s amazing what a good O line and defense will do for an aging QB. Part of the greatness of Brady was that he’s largely been surrounded by mediocre talent yet he still had NE right there, year after year. Gronkowski was a part time player the last few years. Brady can’t carry a team with middle of the pack talent anymore. You put him on the Bears or Broncos and he might have another run.

Even despite the terrible defense, I still think 2011 was our best team, but this team is easily the most balanced Saints team in the Payton era. Top 10 in total defense and total offense. I’m not kidding, lol. The way the last two seasons ended was evil. Maybe on the 2011 team, but this year’s team is better equipped to win on the road than any in the Brees era. As good as the Saints are, I still wonder how unstoppable they’d be if Ingram had stayed.

FWIW, Will Harris (an LSU alum) was on local sports radio yesterday and said he had told his agent he preferred signing with the Cubs or Nats, but that the Cubs wouldn’t make him an offer.

You are tripping if you think the Saints do anything this postseason. There is some sort of dark magic that has been screwing with the Saints the past two postseasons. It WILL return. Nah, this team is the best of the Payton/Brees era, even better than the Reggie, Pierre and Colston teams. The defense and running game will travel and the O line is getting healthy. I know you’re half kidding about the black magic stuff, but if the Saints have another heartbreaking loss I may give up sports.

Pittman seems to have the respect of coaches and recruits. There is actual talent on the Hogs roster and a good fan support. They’ve just had a terrible run of hires the last decade. If Pittman is mediocre it’s a step forward. BTW, Chad Morris finds a home as OC at Auburn? Wow.

Looks like Norvell to FSU. Arkansas had this guy two years ago but hired Chad Morris instead. One of the worst programs in the P5.

He has laid waste to every program where he’s been a HC until FAU, and has the distinction as the only coach to begin a season as #1 then end the season unranked. Still, I bet he can recruit.

Funny, I'm hearing Leach to Ole Miss and Norvell to Arkansas. Please, no Kiffin. BTW, Chris Peterson just resigned from UW. There is no smoke at all on Leach to Ole Miss other than a fake tweet that got retweeted by a lot of people. I see that now. What kind of loser goes to those lengths to make fake football coaching hires tweets?

No way Texas gets rid of Herman this offseason. Auburn certainly isn't crazy about Malzahn, but his buyout would be more than $27M. :shock: Word is that Arkansas is getting either the Memphis coach or Campbell from Iowa St.

You forgot about the "winless in the SEC" part Arkansas has never recovered from Bobby Petrino wrecking that motorcycle with his mistress. One of the worst programs in CFB since then.
