    That can't be right can it? Cubs are now 38-53, 91 games played, 71 remaining. 13-5 is a 72% winning percentage. Winning 72% of their remaining games (again, LOL) puts them at 51-20 (stlil LOL) to close out the year. Combine that with the current record of 38-53 has them at 89-73 to end the season. Of course, they're trading away Dempster, Garza, Soriano, and anything else that isn't nailed down and cost controlled, so even if Rizzo, Castro and Samardzija are super human, it's highly unlikely.
