  1. The Hawks haven't trailed since the first period of game 6 against Nashville.
  2. So...designated for assignment doesn't mean released. For the 90th time.
  3. stop it you guys need to stop this seriously this team is a legit contender NOW NEGATIVE our pitching isnt good enough face the facts. What facts, exactly? Your reactionary babblings aren't facts.
  4. we got lucky early on cuz pittsburgs bats havent fired up yet. this years team is not as good a team as the record has shown. face it our hitting is streaky and overall our pitching is just alright. we might get a wildcard but not the division. i just dont see it. cardinals are to deep a squad. and they have some fcking amazing karma for some reason. You are full of nonsense. You have no concept of facts, the team is better than the record has shown, and luck has nothing to do with it.
  5. Holy crap you guys are the worst. The Cubs are 13-11, the year is over!
  6. It's the middle of the bullpen. Strop, Rosscup, Rondon, Ramirez have been good. Everyone outside of that can be shot into the sun. How many bullpens you know of that are more than 4 deep? Also, you're neglecting Motte who has been mostly good. Before this hilarious meltdown, the Cubs were 13th in bullpen era and that's with the 4 guys mentioned and you can include Motte too I guess: http://espn.go.com/mlb/stats/team/_/stat/pitching/split/128 Really. You're going to bullpen ERA as the measure of pen effectiveness.
  7. It's the middle of the bullpen. Strop, Rosscup, Rondon, Ramirez have been good. Everyone outside of that can be shot into the sun. How many bullpens you know of that are more than 4 deep? Also, you're neglecting Motte who has been mostly good.
  8. Also, anyone who is seriously saying that the bullpen is a problem is both reactionary and has no memory of any games outside of today.
  9. Bunch of reactionary red-asses in this thread.
  10. There, now it might be a series. Course, the Bulls won game 1 the last 2 times they played a LeBron team, too.
  11. Why game one in particular instead of 1 of the first two games? It's the only game all series where Rose has more than a day of rest.
  12. Have to win game one to have any shot in the series. Lose game one and they could get swept.
  13. Well that was about the least effective goalie pull ever.
  14. I think it just broke the mask. Crawford was understandably in a hurry to get a new one.
  15. Apple doesn't fall far from the tree, then.
  16. why is that funny? Not sure but 8-4 in night games and 5-6 in day games speaks to me. Is it telling you "SMALL SAMPLE SIZE!"?
  17. I'll go ahead and call that a good week in Columbus. Six home games remaining, RPI up to 8, 21 in a row.
  18. He's a catcher. You continue to have less concept of player value than a drunken newborn.
  19. Another amusing close call...the Bulls scored 65 points in the first half. The Bucks finished with 66 for the game.
  20. Kirk Hinrich played 20 minutes and was +2. Derrick Rose played 25 minutes and was +41.
  21. Illinois is now projecting to actually get a national seed. really need a good week in Columbus though, since its the first real team they played in about a month.
