    The mentality I don't get is the view that the Cubs must not be trying to win if they don't go all in right now. The biggest impact the team can make right now is another starter, but beyond that where should they upgrade? SS can be dealt with internally and every other position has either a rookie option that's doing just fine and stands to improve or has Dexter Fowler who is doing well enough for now.

    The Tulo deal reminds me a lot of the Nomar deal for the Cubs in 2004.

    During the game, imo. If Hamels is cruising through 5 innings, get something done quick and pull him from the game.
