  1. HOW IS NO ONE UP IN THE DODGERS PEN.
  2. Looks like I'm attending a game with the best pitcher in the majors...and Clayton Kershaw.
  3. I'm going to have way too much hearing loss to be nervous tonight.
  4. Paul Sullivan was standing 5 feet from me and I did not punch him. I must not be drunk.
  5. post lots, pics videos etc k, thank you sir Just bumped into Alfonso Soriano.
  6. At the game. So far, the rarest jersey I've seen has been a #46 Lee Smith.
  7. Why would this haveanything to do with Roberts?
  8. I'm one for poetic symmetry, so I'm hoping Adrian Gonzalez botches a double play ball leading to an 8 run 8th.
  9. http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/jon-lesters-oddities-all-on-display/ Good article on the actual data on Lester and how the Dodgers tried so hard to get into Lester's head they ended up getting into their own.
  10. It's 8:00 AM and Gonzalez is still out.
  11. Indians gambled on short rest Kluber today, because they are just plain out of starters. They lost, so they are bullpen gaming tomorrow and Tomlin would be able to go game 6. Series on.
  12. Why do you say such horrifying things when I'm about to eat my lunch. The 5th best hitter on the best offense in baseball is objectively valuable.
  13. Soler was objectively the 5th best hitter on the team this season, despite the overreacting to a 6 PA sample in this year's playoffs. In between 2 month stints on the DL, sure, maybe. But the fact that we may as well play with 2 OF and a broom with a glove on it propped up in LF when he's out there sort of matters. I think that's overstating Solers defensive deficiency. He's better than Schwarber was defensively and has a solid throwing arm. He's no Heyward but nobody is.
  14. Soler was objectively the 5th best hitter on the team this season, despite the overreacting to a 6 PA sample in this year's playoffs.
  15. The Dodgers strategy is to start every game with Kershaw front here on out, then go to Pedro Baez for 4 outs so Kershaw will continue to have 4 days rest between starts.
  16. I know people are despondent following the worst Cubs blowout loss of this playoffs, where the Cubs gave up a run on one of the more improbable home runs of Gonzalez (and Hendricks) career, and failed to score after a 90% success rate batted ball didn't fall in against the best SP and RP combo in baseball. I, however, feel like the chances of that happening for 4 games out of 7 are slim.
  17. If you'd quit acting like Rondon Fan, your posts would stop being treated like his, which is what they are, reactionary nonsense.
  18. This is garbage analysis. You can't work deep counts if the opposing pitcher doesn't throw pitches out of the zone. You can't shorten your swing and make hard contact at the same time, and you continue to have no clue as to how offensive players actually do things.
  19. This is idiotic, but just to see exactly how idiotic, which 3 are you referring to?
  20. 1. The Cubs have 4 lefties in the pen for a reason. 2. Montgomery probably isn't the 6th best reliever, but whatever.
  21. Which is the bad strategy, watching strikes go by or attacking early? You don't get to say both.
  22. Hendricks missing low some that inning, still only allowed the one hit thus far.
