This feels like game 3 of the NLDS where Montgomery eventually loses, but I feel more sorry for him than anything that the offense was unable to take advantage of things and Maddon decided Montgomery would be the last pitcher to be in the game.
Now the MVC will add Valpo and things will shake out similarly for them going forward. A league full of teams that will occasionally be at large borderline. A step back for the league, but it's not turning into the WAC.

They had the defense over-shifted. Lindor was behind second base. Nothing about that AB made sense except they were trying to just strike Zobrist out, but then why shift?
