  1. If Kopecky is out for tonight, I'm willing to dress Scott over Pisani. Yes, I realize that he's extremely bad at hockey. That said, he's a goon and a guy that would be willing to muck it up with Luongo. We were outhit by a pretty significant margin on Wednesday night (go figure) and Luongo didn't really deal with much traffic in front of the net. At least Scott can do those things adequately. Pisani doesn't bring anything to the table besides being completey invisible when he's out on the ice. Again, I'm only playing Scott because we don't have many other options out there. I'd dress one of the Rockford guys over either of those two clowns, but I don't think Q's going to do that right now.
  2. Same here. What made Luol step of his game? Thibs? He wasn't as good this year as he was last year. Yep. He was healthier this year, but really didn't do anything differently outside of shooting a few more 3's. Winning lots of games will change perceptions. Most of my frustration with Deng was how he loved to shoot that awful 21 foot shot jumper. I also thought the guy was very injury-prone as well but he fought through quite a few nagging injuries this season. He's an awesome on-ball defender as well. Again, I'm thankful to eat crow when it comes to Lu.
  3. I was never a really big Luol Deng fan (as that thread clearly indicates) but he won me over this year. I'm glad I was wrong about that.
  4. I've never understood why the NBA doesn't re-seed in the playoffs. Three of the four matchups in the West look extremely intriguing and Boston-New York should be a fun one to watch as well.
  5. I don't know about that. Just the fact that they have that gear that they showed to start the game puts us at a big disadvantage. when we are at our best and playing like the globetrotters, i'd take us any day against these guys at their best. it's just finding that team that's hard. we need tazer to be going incredible hulk on everyone right now. They're much deeper than us this year. Their best is better than our best this year.
  6. Men against boys for the first 17 minutes or so. Luckily, we finally got some chances at the end of the period. Next goal is the big one, obviously.
  7. I think the Quade honeymoon has officially expired.
  8. Transfer University strikes again.
  9. Sounds like Bolland should be ready when the series shifts to Chicago, at least.
  10. Playing the HOF game is a positive IMO. Gives the Bears an extra week of camp (assuming there is a full camp) to work with what better be a completely revamped offensive line. Gives Cutler 1 more week with his WRs. The London game as a road game works too, because the Bears will undoubtedly have many more fans at the game than Tampa. They'd probably have more fans than Tampa in Tampa Bay too.
  11. So...I'm sure we had another option besides Russell in the minors, didn't we?
  12. In retrospect, re-signing Hammer to that massive extension was the worst move of the offseason. Of course, that's the one move that everyone seemed hell-bent on making (myself included). I'm all for Hammer being traded in the offseason.
  13. Sopel, Madden and Ladd were all huge losses to our PK unit.
  14. Seriously, it seems like Quade's had at least one awful decision in every game so far this season. This guy's a [expletive] idiot.
  15. In the same way that the Cubs were supposed to have no chance to beat Gallardo yesterday? Nothing like a must-win game on April 11th!
  16. I'm pretty sure the Wild lost their last seven to Dallas dating back to last year before tonight.
  17. [expletive] YEAH
  18. I think the Hawks are the only team that can't score on a 5-on-3.
  19. I'm pretty sure these are the Dallas announcers. At least they're not noticeably biased.
  20. lol at saying Blackhawks players are dirty. Most of them are all giant vaginas, so how in the hell could they be considered "dirty?"
  21. I actually like Fat Van Gundy. Skinny Van Gundy is an ass.
