    Yeah he had some pretty eye-popping stats for Pie last year. I think his predictions are pretty good for the most part. Definitely one of the better statisticians in baseball.

    Marist beats Minnesota, 63-56 and they will take on Arkansas in one of the semifinals of the tournament tomorrow. SIU will take on the Golden Gophers in the consolation round.

    Exactly. As long as he's the 4th OF, I have no problem with Floyd on the team at all.

    I think Floyd would be a great bench option and would make our bench very strong. But $9 million for a bench option? If this were to be true, my guess would be that he is going to get an opportunity to win a starting OF job and that it is an incentive-laden contract. Hopefully this turns out to be false.

    Which makes me glad that Green Bay actually beat an average team on the road this season. We're also the only NFC North team to beat Miami this season :wink:

    Arkansas is a good team; I'm not upset about losing to a team like Arkansas who is going to make the tournament as well. I'm more upset at how we blew a 5 point lead with 2 minutes left in regulation and then our offense going non-existant in overtime as all of our guys were just standing around waiting for Tatum to take shots. We were without our 2 "big" guys in Shaw and Falker in the OT, but still, I didn't like what I saw. We have to beat the loser of Marist/Minnesota and then win the game after that. I guess I won't be too disappointed if we finish 3rd in this tournament.

    This Miami-Detroit game has actually been somewhat entertaining so far.

    Unfortunately, our offense has turned the ball over a ton too and that's where most of Arkansas' points have come from. 26-24 SIU at half. This has been a war so far. Will either team top 35% shooting when it's said and done? It'll be close to around 35%. This game is playing right into SIU's style. We have to take advantage of this down the stretch.

    So let's say Notre Dame beats USC, and Florida and Arkansas lose their games. Does ND really deserve to go ahead of Michigan just because they didn't play OSU during the regular season?? In theory it make sense, but there's far too much noise in a college football season to use something like that as a guideline. To be fair, they owe ND one after the travishamockery in 1993. :wink: I think it would be very interesting to see the voters be forced to choose between the head to head logic (send Mich to the title game) or the no-rematch logic (send ND) if they were the only viable options (Ark loses to LSU and then beats UF example). UF still plays F$U as well, so who knows, maybe the Seminoles will play their best game of the season against an in-state rival. I still think the pollsters are going to vote Michigan in as #2 even if all of that happened with ND getting #3. It would be interesting though to see what really would happen if, by some miracle, all of this were to occur.
