ESPN blows. I don't know how we can still be considered a mid-major after 6 straight tournament appearances, 2 Sweet 16 appearances, close to a 3rd Sweet 16 apperance a few years ago, and close to an Elite 8 apperance tonight. We've landed the two best recruiting class that we've ever seen for the next two years and if we can keep Lowery, I have all the faith in the world that Sweet 16 apperances should be the norm. I know I'm biased, but we've passed Gonzaga as the best non-BCS school.

I can't remember the last time I watched a college basketball game and thought "gee those refs did a swell job!" 8-) I'll always insist Bob Knight hit it dead on with the "relax and enjoy it" remark. :lol: Not much you can do, the refs are just bad a lot of times. I have a few times, but you make a good point - the reffing does seem to be poor overall. These refs for all four games have been pretty bad tonight.

I know you don't want to hear it, but IMO, you were no worse than the 3rd best team we played this year. Probably the second best. (ahead of aTm, behind Florida.) That's a fun team to watch, unless your team is playing them. Great game. I appreciate it. I just feel like crap right now. The best season in our history, a game we easily should've won, and we're done. The last time I felt like this was when Arenas hit that shot at the buzzer to beat the Bulls a few years ago. Ugh...

There's been two bad calls, but I'm not upset with them. Kansas has 8 fouls compared to 4 for us. Real surprising. I hope the foul disparity continues for the final 24 minutes :D

Especially since you're trading the 5th round pick to both Houston and Oakland :D Whoops :lol: I messed that up. I meant to add that Houston would trade us a lower round pick, probably a 6th round pick, as well. Then we use that pick and Rodgers and ship them off to Oakland. Of course, the chances of this happening are about as slim as winning the lottery.

Weber is a much better coach than Tubby. I don't see how this is bad news for Illinois. Because Tubby runs circles around Dan Monson. Yeah, but wouldn't that hurt everyone in the Big 10? I don't see how it just singles out one team.
