  1. Exactly.
  2. Just like how Favre was undefeated when the temperature was less than 34 degrees and we had the Falcons at home in the playoffs when it was freezing. We all know what happened then.
  3. Pretty clear to me that Dorrell is trying to pull out all of the stops in order to try to save his job.
  4. Fantastic news.
  5. I don't agree with that. I think the loss all but guarantees the Pack will need to come to Dallas to get to the Super Bowl, and I think that's an impossible task for them. Sitting here in late November, it looks to me that the Packers' SB hopes were just dealt a pretty critical blow. We'll see. It's always tough to beat a team twice in a season. I don't think going into Dallas is impossible at all. Especially if we're at full strength.
  6. Yeah, I just saw that quote. Interesting. Seeing how we're playing the Raiders next week and the Rams (possibly without Bulger) in two weeks, it would make sense if we just let him rest and heal up for the playoffs.
  7. I don't really care. The Bears fans that saw the game saw how one-sided the officiating was. I absolutely hate using the refs as an excuse, but that PI call was among the worst calls I think I have ever seen in all of sports. No, we didn't deserve to win anyway. The defense played terrible. The game would've been different if KGB and Woodson were in there, but that's what McCarthy gets for being so conservative. It's not a bad loss by any means. I'll still be able to sleep easily tonight. Like I said, I still feel confident in a rematch against them. What's the deal with this? Could they have played and McCarthy decided to hold them out? On Tuesday, both of them said they could play but it would be up to the coaches. All week long, McCarthy has been stressing that it's more important for them to be healthy later on because there's a lot of football left to be played. He really did downplay the magnitude of this game.
  8. Favre is the most popular player? Tom Brady anyone? Favre's more popular than Brady. Hell, even many Bears and Vikings fans like the guy.

  10. And you're completely ignoring the takeaway Al Harris should have had in the 1st quarter and the BS pass interference call? This game is over and it makes me sick. The Packers may not have won the game anyway, but the refs sure didn't do them any favors. My God, it's been a LONG time since I've seen more blatant favoritism by an officiating crew, and that includes some Cubs games. Oh well. With Woodson and KGB, I think we beat them. I want another crack at them in the playoffs.
  11. These refs are GARBAGE. Talk about a late call.
  12. Another turnover would be nice, defense.
  13. ALL RIGHT! Let's go Rodgers & Co.
  14. Delay of Game. Please defense, hold them to 3.
  15. Rodgers looks like a complete stud right now. Defense needs to come up with another stop.
  16. Just wanted to rest them? In the most important game of the year? That's either untrue, or 100% proof McCarthy is [expletive]. Favre is now hurt, Rodgers is in and looking like the bust that he is. Packers have exactly 0 chance of coming here in the playoffs and winning. Their only chance is to get the Cowboys to come up into the cold, and that chance is going bye-bye real quick. That bust just threw the only packers TD (passing td) of the night. Still in it, but the defense is going to have to come up with some stops.
  17. Yeah, this game isn't looking so well. Defense sounds like they're playing terrible with the absence of Woodson and we're not getting any pass rush at all. From what I heard, Woodson and KGB could play, but McCarthy just wanted to rest them. Well we better beat Dallas at Dallas in the playoffs.
  18. Yeah, even Illinois hater Bukie seems to think so. I'd just like to know how they are better than Illinois. SSR provided a game by game breakdown of both teams and it looks like Illinois has the slight edge over USF. USF's best win was against a Pat White-less West Virginia team. And then of course they lost 3 games in a row. I'm sorry, but good teams don't lose 3 games in a row. As far as the whole Juice in the NFL deal, he's going to have to learn how to throw the ball with more touch on his passes. If he can improve his accuracy his final two years in college, I think he'll be drafted in a later round.
  19. Woodson and KGB should play and Collins is back. And Grant has ran for over 100 yards in 3 of his last 5 games and nearly a 4th as well. The running game is coming around. As long as Harris can shut down T.O, I feel pretty confident about this game.
  20. USF is better than Illinois? The hits just keep on comin'.
  21. How? Florida's defense can't stop FAU. How do you think they could stop Illinois? A game between Illinois and USC would be a pretty entertaining game, I would think.
  22. About to lose to Maryland. Looks like this year's Illinois team will be the same as last year's. Consistantly inconsistant.
  23. McCamey looks terrible.
  24. I'm having a hard time watching this game. Mike Patrick has been about as brutal as an announcer could possibly be.
  25. 24 hours until gametime. Really wish this game was on last week or a couple of weeks from now when I'm home where I have NFL Network. Thank God for Sopcast.
