No Deng and no Rip tonight. I'm not really too scared of them in a best of seven series.

Everybody besides Rose should be ashamed of their effort tonight.

Finley's basically a lock to come back, whether that be through the tag or a long-term deal.

Rose hasn't even looked to go after LeBron. He's passing the ball as soon as he gets it. I wasn't going to take too much into this game anyway, but that's a little disheartening.

Haven't we been pretty split the past few years? Also we steamrolled everyone for about a decade. You saying we had no rivalries then? Beating a team does not = steamroll. Obviously you had a rivalry with the Knicks. Can you really recall any memory from games with those Zo Heat teams, let alone the Glen Rice Heat teams? The only game I really recall from those Miami teams was the Memorial Day game where the Bulls lost in Miami. And the only reason why I remember that game was because I was absolutely furious after it for some reason. The joys of childhood. Other than that, I've got nothing.

This is what I'd be most worried about, that this loss causes Thibs to panic and bring back Deng (and to a lesser extent Gibson) too quickly. I'm pretty sure that Deng and Gibson were targeting Sunday as a return date, even before the game yesterday.

I don't think it's too big of an issue, considering it's his off hand. Kobe's playing through a ligament issue on his shooting wrist, so I don't see why Deng can't play through it after a few weeks of rest.

Rip with 43 minutes and Rose with 36 minutes on a bad toe. Yeah, that's pretty dumb. Thibs is a great coach, but I don't understand why he constantly does this with the starters at the end of games.
