  1. Miami was terrible against Boston and Chicago in the regular season last year and what did that mean in the playoffs?
  2. Omer's pretty bad.
  3. Even when Boozer is having a good statistical night, something like that happens.
  4. So does Bruce get that $4 million even if he accepts another head coaching job elsewhere?
  5. Nice effort by Paul on the loose ball too.
  6. Not to mention Bertrand had a dunk on the play where he called timeout.
  7. lol, nice timeout Bruce!
  8. Three and a half weeks ago, the Hawks were the best team in the league. Now, they're 15 points behind the Red Wings and only 3 points clear of 9th in the West. If the Hawks can't beat Columbus on this trip, something has to happen. You can't just watch your entire season slip away in the span of a few weeks, can you? This kind of feels like the 2009 Cubs all over again, when they went from first place at the end of July to like 15 games out by the end of August.
  9. Bowman and Q should both be on the hot seat, at this rate.
  10. I would, but I'm sure he can find a better job than what we're currently going through. It's not a certainty that Lowery's canned either because he has more than one year left on his contract after this season.
  11. I'd be fine with that as well. Get his back and his toe completely healthy and then go from there.
  12. Not a good finish to the game for Watson. What the hell is he doing?
  13. Anytime Noah wants to stop running a break with the ball in his hands would be fine with me.
  14. The good thing about this is now maybe Rose will get the rest that he needs for his toe.
  15. then bruce goes back to siu. it's a no-win for you. At least Bruce has proven he can win at the MVC level with his own players. I'd happily take that.
  16. I just hope Illinois loses out now. It needs to be done. Go 'Cats.
  17. Eventually, Q's going to end up on the hot seat. I'm not advocating a firing but barring a miracle in the next two games, they're going to have lost ten games in a row. When's enough going to be enough?
  18. I saw that too. They teach them well in New York. What producer thought that was a good idea to show that sort of sign?
  19. This team is completely useless right now.
  20. This is the worst team in the league. I legitimately have never heard of some of these guys on this team.
  21. Don't forget that LeBron missed one of the games last year and the Bulls had to have a late rally to win the game that he missed. I thought the regular season matchups meant something last year and I was wrong. In fact, I picked the Bulls to beat Miami in 6 last year in the ECF. The Bulls offense was really bogged down in the ECF when Rose wasn't pushing the ball in transition. I would imagine Rose could shoot better than 35% from the field against them in a playoff series this year, but I'd also imagine that Wade won't be as bad as he was last year. Three great players usually beat one great player. The hope is that some of the Bulls perimeter shooters catch fire like Dallas did so you can sort of neutralize that. I don't really have great confidence in that, but I thought the same thing about Dallas last year too and I was wrong then. Nothing would please me more than to be wrong about this.
  22. I don't agree with this. I don't think we can beat the Heat in a seven game series (as currently constructed), HCA or not. What does this mean? You think the Bulls win 0/10 times? Why would anyone think we CAN'T beat them? I can understand thinking we would be more likely to lose than not, but I don't understand when people say things like this, especially when the team it is being said about is as good as this one. That's not what I was saying. Obviously the Bulls can win individual games against the Heat. I just don't believe they can beat the Heat in a best of seven series. It's simple math. They have three great players while the Bulls only have one. I thought last year that the Bulls could beat the Heat in a seven game series and I was wrong. I thought that the Bulls bench would have been a factor, but Miami's bench outplayed the Bulls bench from Games 2 through 5 in that series. Not to mention that I thought Noah would have actually been able to take advantage of Miami's weak frontline, and he was completely useless. Until proven otherwise, I'll pick the Heat. I'd love to be wrong, but I don't see how LeBron is stopped at the end of games. Until Rose starts attacking LBJ in late game situations, I don't have much confidence in him getting big baskets at the end of games. LeBron is seemingly the only guy in the league who can stop Rose and that's a gigantic problem for the Bulls if they want to get past the Heat.
  23. It's a shame how poorly this sport is officiated.
  24. 7 fouls on Illinois this half. None on Indiana so far.
  25. Leonard gets elbowed in the face and it's a foul on him. Okay then.
