  1. Yep...plus I'd lose another Sweet 16 team in Mississippi State. My bracket is slowly dying.
  2. Well, I had UConn losing in the 2nd round anyway. So this won't hurt me too much.
  3. Yeah, I had S Alabama too....oh well. I didn't have them going past that. I thought long and hard about that game and nearly did pick South Alabama. If I did, I would've had them beating Tennessee as well. Thankfully, I didn't go through with that. And like everyone else already mentioned, I wish Gus were in Tampa. Tim Brando blows. Gus would've had a heart attack after the Western Kentucky buzzer beater.
  4. Damn it.
  5. Holy crap, and Drake ties it with under 30 seconds left.
  6. JOSH YOUNG!!! Drake within 1!
  7. Hahaha. Adam Morrison really looks like crap.
  8. Holy crap, Stephen Curry is amazing.
  9. Yeah, so do I. Plus I have Drake going to the Sweet 16, so this isn't looking too good for me.
  10. Tennessee with a 29-22 lead at halftime. Credit goes out to American though. They're holding one of the best offenses in the nation to under 30 at the half.
  11. Davidson down by 11 with 8 minutes left in the first half.
  12. 13-3, but lost one Sweet 16 team in George Mason. Idiots.
  13. I showed no faith in Baylor; they aren't good. I showed very little faith in the Big 12 in general. Big XII are now 2-1, with potentional to go 3-1 with Texas aTm winning currently. Well, everyone knew KSU/USC and A&M/BYU were tossups. I may end up being wrong on both, but tossups they were. So far, I'm currently 11 out of 12 picks that were correct. The one I lost out was Baylor. Yeah, that makes two of us.
  14. Let's go George Mason. If I can get an upset from the Patriots and an Arizona win, I'll be looking extremely good after today.
  15. 6 for 7. Damn Baylor. All the Sweet 16 teams are in tact...for now.
  16. So why didn't Georgia play like this before last week?
  17. 10 minutes.
  18. That's exactly what I have.
  19. ND gets Gus Johnson, but you can't be too excited about that. You know that Gus does close games for a living. As far as UNLV-Kent State goes, that was a tough one for me too, but I picked UNLV. I'm not betting against a Lon Kruger-led team in the 1st round for teams that match up pretty evenly.
  20. Yes. Dire straits like having a better chance at a stud in the draft. Not dire straits like the inevitable sweep at the hands of Boston. what he said. ^^^^ Yeah, I know, but you have to think this team has too much talent on it to not make the playoffs. I really don't care what we do. If we make the playoffs, whatever. If we get a lottery pick, that's cool too. I really don't care what the Bulls do this year.
  21. 128 teams would be very bad. Heck, there were hardly 64 deserving teams this year. You really want to put a third of the teams in Division I in the postseason tournament? And no matter how many teams you have in the tournament, you're always going to have 5-10 schools saying they got snubbed. There's no point in adding more teams to this. It's perfectly fine the way it is.
  22. ugh. At least we have a home game tomorrow, for whatever that's worth (nothing).
  23. I have K-State, George Mason, Butler, and (gulp) Mississippi State all in the Sweet 16.
  24. Seconded. I have KU winning it all, but that could change. I was real reluctant to pick them over Clemson in the 2nd round.
  25. Maybe in the SEC. Two years ago (05-06) Syracuse finished tied for 9th in the Big East and not only advanced to the Big East final but won the tournament. Hell, I thought he meany only number 6 seeds. Other big Ten lesser seeds in the finals I can recall. #11 Illinois in 99, #9 Iowa in 02, #8 Ohio State in 03, #10 Illinois in 08. Nope, OMC's somewhat right. They split the seeding up in half for the SEC. So there are two 1 seeds, two 2 seeds, and so on. The sixth seed is the lowest seed in the SEC, so it would be equivalent to the lowest seed in any conference making the title game. Georgia's the first SEC school to ever accomplish that. Like you mentioned, Illinois did the same thing back in 99.
