    The O/U for the Packers-Panthers game seems like easy money. I'm anticipating something similar to Carolina's game yesterday, especially if both Shields and Tramon are out for the Packers.

    Yeah...they're pretty good. Honestly, as long as Stafford doesn't make any boneheaded mistakes, they should be a playoff team this year. They have to start making FGs too I know Prater missed two yesterday, but he's a huge improvement over what they had.

    Christian Ponder in Week 17 of the 2012 season against the Packers: 16/28, 234 yards, 3 TD/0 INT, 120.2 QB rating. I'll never understand how that happened. Every other time I've seen him play, he just looks completely incompetent. He can't recognize a blitz, he locks in on checkdown options, his mechanics are terrible...other than that, I guess he's okay.

    road game lost by 21 at home defense didnt force a punt all last game I know the panthers have a ton of issues with injuries, suspensions and poor play too but I don't think its insane that they are favored. they did just destroy the 3-1 Lions a couple of weeks ago (albeit followed up with 2 crappy performances) I'm sure Carolina fans are feeling the same right now after being the only team to get blown out by the Patriots a couple weeks back. huh?

    Not really sure what to expect on a short week. Ponder had the best game of his career against the Packers a couple of years ago, so if Bridgewater's out, I'm sure they'll find a way to move the ball down the field. The schedule sets itself up well for the Packers to make a little bit of a run here before the bye.

    Hell yeah they are! My nephew is the SIU TE/H-back. #4. Soon to be 3-time FCS All-American. He's awesome. He really should be drafted after this year. I think we'll give Purdue a game. Find a way to beat them and a playoff spot is a near lock. Yeah hoping for a big game on B1G network. That would certainly help his draft stock along with a combine invite and a good showing. SIU almost and maybe should have beaten Illinois last year. Yep, I went to that game last year. Would've been nice if they started that game off a little bit better. I think this Purdue team is about the same as last year's Illinois team and SIU's squad is a little bit better this year as opposed to last year. I'm considering going on Saturday, but I'd have to leave at around 6:30 in the morning to make it out there in time for kickoff.

    It sounds like that Bulaga's injury is really a best case scenario. He should be week to week.

    There was a WR that was completely uncovered on the right side of the field on that play too. Of course, Collinsworth didn't mention that either. That was probably one of Rodgers worst games that I can remember off the top of my head, but I would mainly attribute that to Seattle's defense. He's not going to see another defense that's even close to that unless they face each other again in January.

    He had the really bad missed tackle, but I actually thought he looked pretty decent after that. He had a couple of pass deflections, nearly had an INT -- more often than not, he was in the right spot and he actually looked like an NFL safety. Losing to Seattle is nothing to be ashamed of, but damn, the ILB's on this team suck. I don't really know how Thompson has neglected to improve that position until later rounds in the draft but that's pretty frustrating.

    Holmes filled-in for McNeil before and the mid-day show's ratings were terrible. Mini-Bernstein's act doesn't fly with a lot of people. Didn't stop Holmes from posting a long explanation of why he wasn't interested in the spot recently filled by Mannelly. haha, yeah, sureeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee you weren't interested in that job, Larry. It's only a better daypart compared to the spot that he currently hosts, unless he loves getting pre-empted half the year for the Sox/Monday & Thursday Night Football/Illinois/etc.

    What's the read here? Stable as in embarrassing 2014 85M payroll stable, or stable as in we held back money this year embarrassing 100M payroll stable? The payroll thing is a little discouraging to me. I don't see how they won't spend at least a little bit this offseason, because of how low the payroll is going to be going into the offseason.

    That would be a [expletive] trainwreck. I feel bad for Abbatacola if he's not getting that shot. Mannelly's guest hosted a few times with Spiegel, and I really enjoyed it. He'll be great during the Bears season...the question is how he'll be after that. I heard him attempt to talk about the Bulls a few weeks back and it was a mess. Sounds like most Bulls fans Not denying that.

    Worst show on radio. I think a large part of the ratings that they get is from people that listen for the fun bad factor. I'd like to transcribe one of their interviews with any of the 28 guests that they have on every one of their shows, just to show how ridiculous it is.
