Nothing beats football. College Saturday's and NFL Sunday's are amazing.

It looks like a weak year for college football, in general. Every conference has some sort of question mark in the early going. The Big Ten has been ripped for their 'performances' the last two weeks but the ACC should be garnering the brunt of the blows from the talking heads. That conference has had some serious issues so far.

Oh so he's not the second coming of Steve Young like we saw last week against our Mickey Mouse defense. He seemed nervous tonight, which is weird considering last week was at a neutral site, on ESPN, his first start and against a team from a major conference. Bowling Green probably has a better defense than Illinois. Trust me when I say Illinois' defense is atrocious. They have a horrid secondary and they can't get a pass rush with their front four. That combination rarely mixes.

yipee they beat a piss-poor OSU team by 3 No, like all Big Ten teams "they are great" - until they lose, they it's "we're just in a down cycle." They are still going to win the Big Ten - what does thay say about the rest of the teams in the conference? Penn State will win it. I think Michigan has a legitimate chance to take it. And I hate myself for saying that. PSU has the complete package. They have a pretty good defense, an experienced QB in Clark and a good RB in Royster. The Big Ten is weak this year, but I think Penn State's going to be just fine this season. I wouldn't be shocked if Michigan beat OSU this year.

Is Virginia the worst BCS team? i dunno, but duke lost to richmond, virginia lost to william and mary (both of them apparently), james madison is leading maryland in the 4th quarter, florida state is trailing jacksonville st (not even a good i-aa program). that's atrocious. as for the worst BCS team, i'm sure wazzu will be horrible again, colorado looks really pathetic (losses to colo st and toledo? come on), and then there's virginia. those are probably the top contenders. Don't forget about Kansas State and Iowa State.

I don't care for Illinois running the ball with their QB's as often as they do. At least McGee appears to be playing well (although it is just Illinois St).

What happened to Juice? 1st offensive play of the game he took an option keeper down the sideline then tripped and I think they said he bruised his thigh... could probably play if he needed to, but it's Illinois State Thanks.

I don't understand how they made a legal case out of it. I guess if any player is suspended for violating a drug test, they can just take it to court and apparently they won't be punished for cheating. -
