  1. He's a freshman, he'll learn. Jimmy Claussen was the same way a couple of years ago and he turned out ok. Aaron Corp is actually a redshirt sophomore, but this is his first year getting collegiate playing time. Was thinking about Barkley for some reason. Brain cramp. Still, this is his first time actually facing live in-game action. I still think he'll be an all right QB.

  3. I'd prefer we not trade Buff, only for the simple fact that my 33 jersey shirt would become irrelevant.
  4. I was wondering that too. I also found it interesting that they chose to use Joniak instead of Laravee. And they're playing it during the Packer games on the radio, too. I wonder how many Packer fans understand who that is :) Understand who? Larrivee is awesome and I know who Jeff Joniak is. They're both real good at what they do. I guess living near STL pays off for once during an NFL weekend.
  5. Exactly. Even the people that would prefer Bradley remaining here agree that he's a jackass. We get it. He's also a better player than whatever the alternative is, whether that be an in-house option or Chone Figgins.
  6. Wait, there's a game going on?
  7. So that guy can make a 48 yard FG in below zero windchill weather but he can't make a 29 yard FG in this place? Typical.
  8. I can see the Cubs moving Fukudome to RF and doing something absolutely asinine like getting Chone Figgins for CF. That's a lot smarter of a move than making Milton Bradley the focus of your offseason plans. Sure, if you pay Figgins like $4 million a season. Some team is going to give him $10+ million a season and I'm starting to believe that team is unfortunately going to be us.
  9. Agree 100%. He's basically an overpaid, injury-prone, [expletive] version of Scott Hatteberg. WANT Find me one person on this board who thinks Bradley is as good as Bonds. One. Quiet, he's on a roll. Yes, and you are the one defending Milton Bradley, even though his teammates and organization will not. Screw these guys, I'm with Flamez24Rulz! You know, the guy with Aaron Rodgers jumping around in every one of his posts! Sure, believe what you want to believe. Bradley's a jackass, there's no question about that. I feel this easily could've been handled in a better manner than how it's currently being handled. I'm only defending Bradley because I think he's a decent player and he's better than the in-house options that we have right now. Is that too difficult to understand?

  11. What are you not getting here? Do you need it spelled out for you? He's a mediocre player with a crap attitude and his teammates have had enough of him. That better? Much better. I love seeing things from this perspective.
  12. Good thing Bradley produced THIS YEAR for us. Oh my God, I really think you do this just to get a rise out of people yet you continue to ignore the facts about Bradley's productivity this year. what the hell are you talking about? You folks keep bringing up his "productivity" as if it is something to write home about. 9.1 VORP, 3.2 WARP3, .775 OPS That's hardly irreplaceable. I don't know who is out there we can get or who we can promote, but those are hardly great numbers. What the hell am I talking about? The Bradley detractors on here are making it seem like he's one of the worst RF's to ever grace a Cubs uniform and that it's his fault we're in the position we're at right now this year. He hasn't been great, but he's been far from bad this season. There are plenty of other worthwhile scapegoat targets besides Bradley.

  14. You don't know that. Yeah he does. Who's replacing Bradley in RF next year? I'm eager to hear your response.
  15. So the Jim Hendry specialty strikes again. Let's bring the player to his lowest value before trading him! I can't wait until Hendry releases a tape of Bradley throwing things around in the clubhouse before leaving.
  16. Nice microphone system!
  17. An asterisk should go next to Iowa State when they're described as a BCS school.
  18. Uh oh, you might have just opened a hornet's nest.
  19. I wish they would have just taken two shots at the endzone really. There just wasn't enough time to throw to the middle of the field. Oh well, it really shouldn't have gotten to that point. It would've been fitting if Odom got another sack to end the game. 2-2 is a best case scenario at the bye now. That sucks.
  20. The ultimate fake rally. I want to [expletive] throw up.
  21. No chance. We have to get a TD in 40 seconds with no timeouts.
  22. By having the worst line in the league.
  23. The only reasonable explanation to explain all of these penalties is that this team is just poorly coached. Considering we were 31st in the league in penalties last year, it's certainly not a coincidence.
  24. Haha Laugh all you want, but there's too many question marks on this team to think otherwise. We're losing to the Bengals at home. I don't care how you spin it, that's awful.
  25. Well at least McCarthy should get fired after this season.
