  1. Jackson's gonna be at 1B in the future. But still you have an OF of Quentin, Young, Tracy. Or you could put Tracy back at 3B, put their #4 prospect, ironically enough another C, Carlos Gonzalez in the OF and have Tracy, Drew, Santos, Jackson in the IF. The D'Backs should jump at any chance to trade Gonzalez, Green, or Glaus for pitching.
  2. I'd deal with it for an IF of Ramirez, Tejada, Walker, Lee. And a rotation of Prior, Zambrano, Wood, Maddux, Weaver.
  3. Didn't think of that. They now have a ton of OFs in Arizona.
  4. The name calling goes for more than just fellow posters. Please, don't use derrogatory words when referring to any associated with the Cubs organization. There are plenty of respectful ways to go about disagreeing with something or someone.
  5. Parity. BTW, I'm winning this biyatch! Youre just lucky im not in the playoffs. 4-0 against you in the last two years. BOW TO YOUR SENSAI! Yeah, that's gonna have to stop.
  6. Scrait Ballin' is on a roll though. Went from 6th place to 2nd in 3 weeks.
  7. Parity. BTW, I'm winning this biyatch! David Garrard will prove to be too much for you yet again. I'm taking this despite losing McNabb, TO, Jackson for half the year, Julius to injuries/platoon, even freaking Akers going down. That's depth, fools. you will win again if I get another 0 and -1 from 2 of my RBs. I swear I've had at least 8 weeks with at least 1 RB scoring less than 2.
  8. Parity. BTW, I'm winning this biyatch!
  9. Wow, Jon Garland and Chris Young would be way overpaying That would be a bad, bad trade. The Sox should do it.
  10. Going into the offseason, the Cubs had 2 simple ways to improve the team. Sign a FA for RF (Giles) or sign a top SP and trade young pitching to fill offensive holes. With Giles off the table, the only way for the Cubs to significantly improve RF is to trade their minor league pitching, thus creating a hole in the rotation this year and in future years. It should also be noted that Kerry Wood and Greg Maddux may very well not be Cubs after 06. If the Cubs trade young pitching (which they should to fill RF), I believe they need a starter in the rotation to pick up the slack, and to give them leverage to deal young pitching and/or to allow Maddux and/or Wood to walk after the season. I like Weaver and Millwood, but Millwood is seemingly going out of the price range I feel comfortable offering him. If Weaver doesn't accept arbitration with LA, I'd see if he's still around in January and jump on him.
  11. Well, I was expecting to be happy with 1 of IU/UK Bears/Pitt. Man, it's gonna suck to go to work tomorrow.
  12. Well, time to start another win streak. I'll settle for just 6-7 in a row this time.
  13. If Wade runs this one back, I'll forgive every muff this season.
  14. Wow. The Bears don't let backs run straight at them. Throw the film away from this game.....no better yet, make them watch it all week.
  15. It's not one or the other: The problem with the Bears inability to throw the ball is a combo of several things... Lack of TE Lack of WRs Orton Turner Throw 'em in a blender and you have a horrible passing game. I do like Moose and Desmond Clark. They can use a definite reliable playmaker. With all due respect, how could you like Clark?
  16. They should do like they did last time and score a touchdown real fast.
  17. it helps when your receivers are making spectacular catches. When was the last time a pattern went down the field in a non-pseudo punt situation?
  18. Maybe it's not all Orton's fault? This should have been going on all day. Gould is bad.
  19. Oh lord! Can't get 1 break?
  20. It's not all of his fault, they need a #2 WR, a TE, and some decent playcalling, but he hasn't been good enough to be a starting QB especially on a team likely to win 10-11 games. I want to see Grossman, to see if it would be worth moving up in the draft to address QB. I think they can work with Moose, Bradley, and Berrian. I'd like a legit #2 WR, but I think with the latter 2, Currie and Berlin, you have a chance to have a decent WR corps. TE is a necessity. Just start with 3 new ones in 06. Sign one, draft one early, draft one late.
  21. Not everyone has quit! Go offense, I mean TJ, I mean...same thing.
  22. Looked like Idonje.
  23. Steelers best game since Weeks 1 & 2. Worst Bears game since weeks 3 & 4. Easy to see why the score is what it is. Save some for Minnesota next week, Pitt.
  24. The Bus or the Freakin' Mack Truck? Tackling has sucked today.
