They've already done enough to lose this game and their offense isn't capable of winning it. Lovie has to do whatever he can do give his team a chance to win. If he goes back out there with the same QB, he simply isn't doing that. But he's giving the team a chance to win longterm. With this offense, the Bears are gonna have a tough shot winning it anyway. So, Grossman won't make much of a difference, unless you believe he's THAT much better than Orton....which is hard to believe he is at this moment without having played much football in 2 years. What happens if Grossman comes into this game that is looking like a loss anyway and goes down with another injury? I would guess the odds of injury increase simply due to the fact the offense is gonna put the ball in the air more than they have all year.
