They've already done enough to lose this game and their offense isn't capable of winning it. Lovie has to do whatever he can do give his team a chance to win. If he goes back out there with the same QB, he simply isn't doing that. But he's giving the team a chance to win longterm. With this offense, the Bears are gonna have a tough shot winning it anyway. So, Grossman won't make much of a difference, unless you believe he's THAT much better than Orton....which is hard to believe he is at this moment without having played much football in 2 years. What happens if Grossman comes into this game that is looking like a loss anyway and goes down with another injury? I would guess the odds of injury increase simply due to the fact the offense is gonna put the ball in the air more than they have all year.

I don't agree with bringing Rex in. This is the worst possible situation for him. Pitt isn't getting to the QB at all (outside of the CB blitz a few plays ago), but having only played 2 preseason games in the last 15 months...I don't want to bring in Rex in a situation where he is gonna be back to pass the majority of the rest of the game. This isn't a do-or-die game. Let Orton finish it out and go with Rex next week after a full week of taking most of the 1st team snaps.

Again. I don't think that's the case at all. It's been a well called game by Pitt. They should have been off the field when that last TD happened. Thev've missed tackles, but I don't think it has anything to do with believing their hype.

Why? Orton is not the reason they are losing at all. Not like Orton has done much to help the team. If the defense could stop anyone it would still be 7-3. IF?

It's like Wade wanted to get hit hard. Grossman should get a fresh start if he's gonna play QB. Why bring him in down double digits when he hasn't played all season?
