  1. I heard "a month or more".
  2. Yeah, that's where I am. Not a big Gregory fan though.
  3. not happening 7 points over 22 games is kind of a lot. No chance unless Sharp is caught sexing Keith's wife in the locker room between periods. Heh.
  4. With Derrick Rose and Patrick Kane both hurt yesterday, it's only a matter of time........ Pop up to the right side of the IF. Jon Lester and Anthony Rizzo both going for it, collide with each other....turning Rizzo into Hee Seop Choi and Lester into Dave Righetti.
  5. Yeah, there hasn't been any doubt since Loggains and Gase that Cutler was staying. I mean, sure if some team gives up a top 1/2 of the 2nd round pick for him, you think about it......but nobody's going to do that. And the Bears aren't going to cut him for the sake of cutting him (if so, they'd have no justification to NOT cut Marshall AND Allen also, and would have over 30Mil of dead weight on their cap). That's honestly just stupid considering upgrading over Marshall and Cutler would be nearly impossible in the short term (Allen is a different story).
  6. Hold on a sec...it's ok for him to be rapey because other QB's have been rapey? The point is, everyone acts like Jameis is the worst person in America because a chick accused him of rape and the Tallahassee police botched everything about the investigation. But there's no charges and nothing close to a conviction. I'm so used to arguing with Steelers fans who were up in arms about Ray Rice, saying he should be kicked out the league, while they still cheer for Rapelisberger every week. Obviously, I wasn't condoning [expletive] rape. But just like the Big Ben stuff, people will forget about all this when he's a successful NFL QB.
  7. Hold on a sec...it's ok for him to be rapey because other QB's have been rapey? Yes, that's exactly what I said.
  8. Ditto. I keep thinking Torres seems like a back of the top 10 type, but then I remember he was 17 all last year. Plays SS well, from what I hear. Walks the way we want everyone to walk. Then I think about the flaws the other guys have. Torres basically gets my vote because he isn't close to the majors and his flaws (Edwards' health, McKinney's average tools, Almora's crap) have yet to be exposed because he's still more talented than everyone he's facing.
  9. Yeah, somewhere between McNair and Roethlisberger for me.
  10. That's a rather large oversimplification. Yeah let's not forget the girl he probably raped. Probably? Based on what? And it's not like a franchise QB hasn't had a rape claim against him. Everything else is just immaturity. The crab leg thing isn't even stealing either.
  11. That's got to be the #1 on-field question for him. He has great pocket awareness, is normally very accurate and has a good football IQ and yet, he threw a ton of picks last season. I know some of them can be blamed on his receivers but you can't possibly explain away all of them like that. Of course I thought Matt Ryan was going to be a bust because of his high interception totals and I definitely was wrong there so maybe you can't just judge on things like that. (Admittedly Matt Ryan played with far inferior college talent around him than Jameis did.) His WRs were really bad this year. He had basically Greene and a TE. And Greene is physically one of the weakest WRs in this draft. His WRs didn't fight for anything. But overall, he has a problem with LBs running underneath routes. I think he understands offense much more than he understands defense at this point.
  12. But he stole some crab legs!!!!!
  13. What the hell were u watching? Jameis was excellent all day today. 28 inch vertical and a 4.98 40 was "excellent"? There are actual passing drills at the Combine and Winston was fantastic at those. Unless you think Winston's ability to run in a straight line for 40 yards and jump in the same spot are more important, raw is completely right. Winston clinched himself as the #1 pick today (unless he does something dumb off the field again). Exactly. I was responding to lack of arm strength, which is an absolute joke. He had the best and most accurate arm out there yesterday. I don't give 2 shits about his 40 or vertical. He's not a scrambling QB. He's a pocket guy.
  14. What the hell were u watching? Jameis was excellent all day today.
  15. So your saying your actually really old ;-). OLDER brother's son. He ran more yards in the 40 that I have aged in years (barely)!
  16. BTW, my nephew recorded the best 40 and vertical of all the TEs at the combine today.
  17. On paper, maybe, but this draft looks like one where five years from now, the most successful QB will be some 3rd or 4th rounder no one is talking about right now I don't think you realize how little this happens. The only QBs who started a game this year from rounds 3-4 are Nick Foles, Josh McCown, Kirk Cousins, Kyle Orton and Mike Glennon. And they all sucked royally. Youre more likely to get a good QB in the 6th round or as a UDFA. Mid round QBs are purgatory. If u aren't getting a guy top 45, you might as well take a shot in the dark as nd hope u luck into Brady or Romo.
  18. "@ESPNNFL: In the season after each of NE's first 3 SB wins, an MLB team ended a 40+ year World Series drought (ANA, BOS, CHW). Ill leave this here.
  19. There's 2 guys that are better prospects than either Bryant, Soler, or Russell on his own team. That's just stupid amounts of talent, especially considering a guy at least at that level of prospectdom barely graduated from prospect status last year. FYI, I picked Russell. 2nd time in a row I've picked a guy I project to be an inferior player over the guy behind him.
  20. http://www.phillyvoice.com/last-5-years--mel-kiper-predicted-8-picks-right/ If he'd been 100% accurate, the first round picks the last 5 years for the Bears would be: 2010: None 2011: Aaron Williams 2012: Michael Floyd 2013: Tyler Eifert 2014: Timmy Jernigan vs. 2011: Gabe Carimi 2012: McClellin 2013: Kyle Long 2014: Kyle Fuller Interesting. Id say the projections are better. But would mean no Jeffery in 2012 2nd round. And no signing of Marty Bennett in 2013.
  21. Bryant has earned the #1 ranking. But Soler and Russell will be better players than him.
  22. He's Cam Newton's mom's favorite player.
  23. Former 3rd base coach Wendell Kim just died at 64.
  24. You ever been to either? Obviously if not, do three opposite Otherwise, I'd go Arizona. May get to see some guys not in the majors that early in Arizona aka Bryant. Yes, I've done both. It is between a partial skiing vacation or poolside 24/7. I've done the multi destination version too, but the flights aren't nearly as reasonable this time around, so it's either/or. Yeah i did both in back to back years. But I don't ski, so id go Arizona. But u can lay by a pool anywhere. Go to Colorado.
