  1. Nah, I don't think the Bulls matchup well at all against the Celtics. I think the Bulls can beat a team of the Celtics caliber, but not if they can't matchup well. It's early in the season, so things are most possible right now. But Bulls have a bad combo of nobody that matches up well vs. either Garnett or Pierce. If feel you have to either slow one down offensively or make them work enough on D to cause problems. It would be a good sign if the Bulls have a shot in the 4th quarter.
  2. Wait. Why would you have 3 Rams receivers? Who's the 3rd? If you have any other Ram that is not Torry Holt or Steven Jackson, cut him. I hope you meant 2.
  3. It's a hand though, isn't it? I could see the point in easing him back if he had a hammy or other leg issue, but with the hand, he's either ready to go or he's not. Wrist. And I thought it was a ligament thing? That's why I said eased in. But another reason to ease him in is that Graham has been better.
  4. I don't know about Magglio to Tampa, but it will be interesting to see what they do this offseason. They have plenty of years w/ their current group. David Price to the rotation and Jackson to the pen, makes them stronger next year. Does this year's taste make them go out and spend some money? I could see them being players for someone like Adam Dunn.
  5. Is it too early to name Chris Paul league MVP? Is it too early to end the season for the inevitable Lakers/Celtics finals rematch?
  6. So much for health. Tillman, Vasher, Manning, Booker, Lloyd and Hillenmeyer had limited practice. Tommie Harris missed practice yesterday. If I had a guess though, I'd say Hillenmeyer, Lloyd and Manning miss the game. Harris is supposed to have a full practice today. And my guess is Tillman will be fine for full duty and can go on Sunday. I'll assume Vasher will be eased back, in a non-starting role, and get about 20-25 plays at CB.
  7. Not necessarily a bad thing. I want to see Roach play (and Hunter on the bench) anyway. I'm a big Jamar Williams fan, but he hasn't shown me anything when he's been out there this season. Ill be interested to see this too. Id like to see how well he can cover a TE. HH is pretty good at that aspect. Id also like to see Manning back in the nickel rotation, at least this week if he's not McBride can play the slot rather than play on the edge(not that he's terrible on the edge). JSC. I really expected him to be very below average at LT, he has been a nice surprise to me. I had visions of Mike Gandy this year. This was one reason i supported not placing CWilliams on IR. Now that Williams is getting closer to being on the field im not sure im in as much hurry as i was earlier to replace JSC with him. If Williams is inserted in the LT spot i am all for moving JSC to RG, maybe LG and move JB to RG but seems like a major reshuffle. At this point, I'd probably rather see Williams, Buenning, Kreutz, Beekman, JSC from left to right. If you are gonna completely overhaul the line, that's what it should be. Those are the best 5 linemen on the team right now.
  8. This thread should never end. Seriously, though. Congrats to Jamie Moyer. Pride of SB Clay High.
  9. Haven't read the recent posts, but why didn't David Price start tonight? (by start, I mean relieve, but since he's the only guy in the bullpen who has been a starter recently and has been very good at it, it could have been like a start for him).
  10. TT should never put the ball on the floor. I'd love for him to be able to, because that would make him serviceable at the 3...but yeah, he should never put the ball on the floor.
  11. Not necessarily a bad thing. I want to see Roach play (and Hunter on the bench) anyway. I'm a big Jamar Williams fan, but he hasn't shown me anything when he's been out there this season.
  12. Can you pick up Avery w/o dropping Holt? I would probably hang on to Holt in case the Rams decide to start getting him the ball, which you figure they would eventually unless his skills have diminished that much.
  13. Was the Lakers D that good? Roy, Aldridge, Oden, Frye and Bayliss went 10-44.
  14. Agreed. He's 6'9" and shot 408 threes last year. In comparison, he only had 439 rebounds. I'd rather get Zach Randolph.
  15. 46 off the bench. Six in double digits. 24 assists on 35 baskets.
  16. Ben Gordon with 18 in a flash.
  17. I'd like to see Rose start off his career with a double double. A basket and 2 assists will do it.
  18. Getting molested by Redd on the other end.
  19. Noc has played well too. Tyrus 1 board away from a double double. Rose is great running the offense.
  20. 5 in double digits and Rose w/ 8. Would like to see Rose, Hinrich/Gordon, Deng, Noah, TT on the floor down the stretch, with Gordon or Hinrich being a tossup.
  21. Kirk Hinrich has played well.
  22. Gotta make a run now. Tons of foul trouble for Milwaukee. Best players are out.
  23. Not a good start to the 2nd, not Derrick Rose's fault though.
  24. Noah did some good things in that half.
