  1. wait until UCLA gets heartbroken in the final four again. oh wait theyre not good enough to get there* *i have no idea if they are good or not or average or ranked. i couldnt name any good teams in the NBA or college basketball this year. If you can't name a good team in either, you're in a coma. Either that, or he just doesn't care about basketball at all. If he knows enough to know that UCLA has lost in the final 4 a couple times recently, he should know what college b-ball teams are good this year.
  2. I did too. What happened to last years ABrown. What happened to rookie Mark Anderson. Really and im serious, the pass rush from the interior (Harrison, I2, and the oft injured Tommie) produces more of a pass rush than the ends. I have more confidence in those 3 producing pressure/sacks than the ends. JA is so going after a DE in the first round next April. I think the Bears need to draft a guy who can stretch the field for Orton. Jeremy Maclin? Michael Crabtree? Percy Harvin? 1. Devin Hester and Earl Bennett can stretch the field 2. Orton isn't a stretch the field type of QB. 3. The Bears won't be bad enough to draft Crabtree, because he's going in the top 5. 4. The Bears scored 28 ppg w/ Orton, do you really think stretching the field is a problem?
  3. THat looked like one of those hits that will end that guy's career.
  4. And look, field position battle still being lost. Titans could blow the Bears out this half.
  5. The problem is the Bears haven't shown any signs of changing the field position issues. Can't throw. Can't punt. Can't cover punts. Can't cover the pass.
  6. Bears continue to struggle vs. QBs over 60. Run D is almost too good, because that will for the Titans to throw and they'll win if the Bears don't adjust. Offensively, the pass game is ignorantly bad right now.
  7. I shoulda said a real sack. Hard to fault the defense on a short field 3 straight times.
  8. At this point, I hope they get a FG, just to change field position.
  9. 1 sack allowed last 5 games, I believe. Don't look for the Bears to get a sack.
  10. Mike Brown found a time machine!
  11. Grossman, definitely not playing well.
  12. Stoogetv.com password is stoogetv if it asks for one. this is the one i plan on using today. i watched the bears/vikes game on this site. Password isn't working
  13. Stoogetv.com password is stoogetv if it asks for one. this is the one i plan on using today. i watched the bears/vikes game on this site. Thanks. I watched last week's game there. I didn't know if that was an every week thing or not.
  14. Rachel Nichols reported on ESPN a few minutes ago that Orton would be the third QB today. Was that wrong? 3rd QB is always inactive. If he comes into the game, no other QB can.
  15. Inactives for Bears: Orton Hillenmeyer Miller Toeina Adams Hamilton Holt Lloyd Lloyd looked like he was going to be available. So, that stinks. Good news is Mike Brown and Tillman should be able to go today.
  16. Will this game be available online to watch? If so, could someone post the link?
  17. Yeah, I figured he would give it a go, but he's going to be limited. If the Bears get in any situation where Bulluck is covering a TE or Forte out of the backfield, they should be able to eat him alive. His backup, Colin Allred is out for this game too.
  18. IU will start the following, household names. G- Devan Dumes (6'2" JR. JC transfer) G- Matt Roth (6'3" FR.) G- Verdell Jones III (6'5" FR from Champagne, IL) F- Nick Williams (6'4", FR.) F- Tom Pritchard (6'9" FR.) 6'5" Freshman, Malik Story will be a key reserve. I'll be happy if this team doesn't finish last in the Big Ten.
  19. Ok, I'm officially excited about this game. I think the Bears have a legit shot to knock off the Titans. Offense: As I pointed out earlier in this thread, the Titans LBs are not good cover guys and can be beaten by the TE. Olsen is a matchup problem because he's faster than their LBs and much bigger than their safeties. To add to this, their best LB, Keith Bulluck is questionable. Also, the Titans are susceptible to runs off tackle. The Packers ran for 4.5 ypc off tackle and further out last week. This is where Forte had a lot of success also in the 2nd half vs. the Lions. And Kyle VandenBosch is questionable also. I'd like to see the Bears overload one side of the ball and run it right at the Titans. Whether it's KVBs backup or right at Jevon Kearse. Defense: Battle of wills when the Bears are on D. Titans are a great running team. Bears have been good at stopping the run. Bears have sucked vs. the pass. Titans have stunk passing the ball. The one thing the Titans do have going for them is they don't alllow defenders in their backfield, make stupid mistakes, or they turn the ball over. So, the Bears aren't going to be able to win this game w/big plays on defense. The Bears are going to have to do what they do best better than what the Titans do best. Bears are gonna have to do what they do worst better than the Titans do what they do worst. Special teams: I'd like to see the Bears return units really step it up this week. The Titans coverage teams are near the bottom of the league. Hester has been horrible this year, but we all clearly know what he is capable of. Intangible: The Titans are not a 16-0 caliber team. They will lose this season. If they don't lose this week, however, there's a solid chance they will be 14-0 facing the Steelers in week 16. The only other team over .500 they play between today and then is the Jets, who they get in Nashville. Only 2 teams have even made it to 14-0 in NFL history. Again, the Titans aren't that good, despite their schedule. So, assuming this Titans team isn't "history making good", this is the game they lose. My prediction: Bears 19, Titans 15.
  20. I would be getting Bush (he he). And I've basically clinched a playoff spot.
  21. So, you are saying there is a deal? No. I was just messin' with you. Trying to get all the info I can, ya know?
  22. So, you are saying there is a deal?
  23. That's just plain old stupid. How is that serious egg on the face? Samardzija has a no trade clause, we know that. That makes it difficult to trade him, but not impossible. We know that. There's no egg on the face for pointing that out and still seeing a guy traded. Poster A: We should trade Samardzjia, Player B, and Player C Poster B: NTC. He can't be traded. If it turns out that the NTC doesn't limit certain trades -- such as one to the Padres -- Poster B was actively wrong. Thus, egg-in-the-face. That's like saying their's egg on the face of people who thought Pi stopped at 3.14. With the knowledge we all have/had, saying Samardzija can't be traded without his consent was very true.
