Same could be said for everyone on the roster, except Wright. Not saying that he's great or anything, but Steltz at least will be in the right position. Not sure about his tackling or ball skills, but which safeties have those on this roster? If you are going to be lacking there anyway, you might as well do so with someone in the right position. How do you know he's going to be in the right position? I don't think we've seen enough of the guy in real game situations, under big time pressure, to know that. He's played in 23 games in 2 years, started the last 2 last year. We've also seen him in preseason games. We have also seen several of his games at LSU and scouting reports to support that. He's started 2 games, when teams could/would be planning for what he does. In my mind Harris is the better player. We'll see if I'm proven wrong. I didn't say Harris wasn't better. But I think Steltz is a better option at FS than Harris is (Harris is better SS by a lot).
