If Russell can't play, run the risk with Coghlan at 2b and Castro at SS? That's a tough proposition for me. I don't weaken 4 positions (2B, SS, LF, RF) for the sake of offense, in what should be a low scoring game.
Yeah, the Cubs probably aren't going to destroy Lackey. I don't think the short rest will matter much. I think a bigger factor will be seeing him in Wrigley and for the 2nd time in 5 days. If you're expecting 4 dongs, you're probably going to be disappointed. If you're expecting 4 runs off Lackey, that is a longshot too, IMO. Cubs still close this out tonight. But I'm thinking it's going to be a low scoring game.
