Scheduled days are 17th, 18th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 24th and 25th. Lester in Game 5 would be regular rest. Arrieta goes in Game 2, he gets an extra day now and then after he pitches Saturday (if it goes to 6). Honestly, I'd rather Arrieta go Game 1 or save him to Game 3. If he goes game 1, he can go 5, and then be a real option for major innings in Game 7. If he goes 2, he goes Game 6 and is not available for 7. If he goes in Game 3, he still gets the same 2 starts as if he goes Game 2, but he can either be saved for 7 (if the Cubs are up 3-2) or he can still go in Game 6 on short rest if down 3-2. Plus, Game 3 is the most pivotal game IMO. But this post is going to look very stupid and pointless when the Cubs win in 4.
