  1. Such a sweet view of the home run.

  3. I’m somewhat surprised by what they got back but not really. He was one of the worst starting running backs in the league last year. He had the lowest yards per carry of any running back with more than 175 carries. He had the 6th most carries in the league and couldn’t crack 1,000 yards. He’s gotten worse every year. I know we have fond memories about his rookie season but the reality is he’s just a guy. I’m also extremely skeptical they turned down a 3rd for him last year.
  4. Howard traded to Eagles.
  5. I agree. This is a great deal considering the Bears cap situation.
  6. Is Clinton-Dix good? Honestly have no idea.
  7. I like the Patterson signing. They needed a KR and this guy is a versatile piece on offense. Another player with speed and explosiveness.
  8. per Rapsheet, Ravens close to signing Ingram for 8m per year. I imagine that takes them out of the Bell sweepstakes.
  9. Sorry, brah
  10. Packers spending tons of money.
  11. 9m and change a year... a little lower than I thought but more than the Bears are willing to pay with Jackson's contract coming up.
  12. I bet Amos is going to get in the 10-12 million a year range. If that's the case, I'm fine with letting him walk. Callahan was always a guy I was nervous to give big money to given his injury history. I don't think you can count on him. Pretty underwhelmed with the guys they signed thus far. You have to assume they have someone in mind to clear as much cap space as they have. Maybe I'm a meatball, but I want to see them sign Bell. Let's get crazy.
  13. Amos to the Packers
  14. I think Howard hurt more than he helped last year. He was pretty bad and while he didn't get 20+ carries a game, he still got 250 carries. My guess is that he also limited the offense's options when he was in the game. Sure - he's cheap and already on the roster, but why settle for someone who was so unproductive last year? We good with 3.7 ypc on 250 carries next year? What indication has Howard given that he's capable of turning this around? Let's be real: this guy had one good season.
  15. On the one hand it would be so very 2019 to feel relief having dodged a Kareem Hunt signing and then get blindsided by an AP one. AP switching his kid's [expletive] until it bleeds was just horrendous and he has no remorse for it whatsoever. I would legit boycott the Bears if they signed AP.
  16. [tweet] [/tweet]Huh? This would make absolutely no sense.
  17. I just don't see how they get much value for Howard. He's got one year left on his deal and has gotten worse every year. Maybe you get a 4th for him? I guess there was a report that someone offered a 3rd for him last year at the deadline. I get why they didn't pull the trigger since they were in the middle of the season and had no replacement. I doubt they get that offer again, but maybe I'm wrong.
  18. Damn, that hairline is tough at 25.
  19. Yeah, dude. I can't stop laughing about this. Worth 6 billion dollars and you get busted at a discount rub and tug.
  20. Can't wait to watch the offseason coverage on how the Cubs aren't going to sign anyone due to city amusement taxes.
  21. This is so depressing
  22. Yeah, I didn't think they were going to, but a pretty big relief to have it confirmed. I was bracing for impact on this one so I'm happy to see him sign with another team.
  23. Hasn't he gotten into a bunch of other fights too? This isn't an isolated incident from what I understand.
  24. I laughed and signaled first down in my house.
