I've never liked Collins, even when he had his decent seasons. He's a 70-something rated QB, he throws INTs up the whazzoo and I don't know if he's ever completed 60% of his passes. I think he'll be moderately expensive, looking for a starting job, and not friendly to young QBs taking his time. I think he could be a decent backup QB, but I don't have interest in him being the Bears' backup QB. I'd rather they spend their money on other positions. I won't complain if they sign him, but I think it would be a misappropriation of funds. I agree.
