College Football has issues. Quarterbacking generally sucks. Good teams fill their schedules with teams they can beat 60 to nothing. Each good team has about 3-4 good games a year and 9 30-50 point blowouts. Let's look at Texas last year: September 3 Louisiana-Lafayette W 60-3 September 10 at No. 4 Ohio State W 25-22 September 17 Rice W 51-10 October 1 at Missouri W 51-20 October 8 Oklahoma W 45-12 October 15 No. 24 Colorado W 42-17 October 22 No. 10 Texas Tech W 52-17 October 29 at Oklahoma State W 47-28 November 5 at Baylor W 62-0 November 12 Kansas W 66-14 November 25 at Texas A&M W 40-29 December 3 at Colorado W 70-3 January 4 vs No. 2 USC W 41-38 How exciting! Not to mention, you lose one game and your season basically loses all meaning. Anything but a BCS bowl is pretty much worthless. Wisconsin won the Capital One Bowl last year, does anyone care? No. I do like college football, don't get me wrong, but on the whole, it isn't even close to as entertaining as the NFL.
