  1. Wow. Bears shut down Edge to epic proportions.
  2. LOL@ Green's tirade.   :P
  3. Absurd. I turned the game off after Rex's 6th turnover. My girlfriend, who could not care less says, "There's time left, just watch the rest!" So I did. Best decision ever.
  4. It's pretty hard to hold Tampa against Lou. No one is going to win there.
  5. This would be great news if it turns out to be true.
  6. That clip is EXACTLY why we need him here - he has the intensity we need I'm...Hoping thats a joke. A hothead manager is exactly what we dont need. We already have one ignorant hot head managing a baseball team in chicago, we dont need another. I have to disagree here. Watching Lou lose his mind will best part about next season.
  7. Really looking forward to the Saints Eagles game.
  8. Da Badgers are going to be good this year. SI's first Power Rankings have them at #6. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2006/writers/luke_winn/10/13/power.rankings/index.html
  9. Todd Johnson would replace Manning Jr? Ugh.
  10. Hey guys, if your looking for something to do tonight, there is a game on. Louisville vs. Middle Tennese State. Should be a real nailbiter. Louisville is on the road here so it might be tough to cover the 30 point spread.
  11. If you're rooting for a good team, three quarters of the game have no meaning or are never contested. Look at Texas last year. Where's the intensity in playing one difficult game before the championship? Every other game they won by between 25 and 70 points.
  12. Yeah, last year. It's usually not like that. It's usually 2 1 loss teams or 1 undefeated and 1 1 loss. And again, which 1 loss team is determined by polls. Four out of the eight BCS National Championship Games have featured 2 undefeated teams and three of those four years they were the only 2 undefeated teams in the nation (2004 was different with Auburn, USC, Oklahoma all finishing the regular season undefeated). That's what Goony's saying 5 out of 8 years the decision has been totally subjective.
  13. College Football has issues. Quarterbacking generally sucks. Good teams fill their schedules with teams they can beat 60 to nothing. Each good team has about 3-4 good games a year and 9 30-50 point blowouts. Let's look at Texas last year: September 3 Louisiana-Lafayette W 60-3 September 10 at No. 4 Ohio State W 25-22 September 17 Rice W 51-10 October 1 at Missouri W 51-20 October 8 Oklahoma W 45-12 October 15 No. 24 Colorado W 42-17 October 22 No. 10 Texas Tech W 52-17 October 29 at Oklahoma State W 47-28 November 5 at Baylor W 62-0 November 12 Kansas W 66-14 November 25 at Texas A&M W 40-29 December 3 at Colorado W 70-3 January 4 vs No. 2 USC W 41-38 How exciting! Not to mention, you lose one game and your season basically loses all meaning. Anything but a BCS bowl is pretty much worthless. Wisconsin won the Capital One Bowl last year, does anyone care? No. I do like college football, don't get me wrong, but on the whole, it isn't even close to as entertaining as the NFL.
  14. Jeter with a garbage time, stat padding, double.
  15. Bruce Levine reports that Sweet Lou is the #1 candidate and should be interviewed in the next couple days.
  16. Funny quote from cbssportsline. This is something I would say, uh, about 3 hours into a tailgate.
  17. Yeah, but this fast? I've been bullish on Rex but the guy is on pace to throw 30 TD's. That's crazy.
  18. I'll be going to this one as well! 8)
