  1. Wisky's WR's are all Freshmen, right?
  2. Yeah - they're certainly not impressive at all offensively. PJ Hill has consistently shown some punch, but overall they're just way too raw. Basically if you stop Wisconsin on first down, you'll win the drive as there is no way Wisconsin can move the chains with longer passing plays. I like what I've seen from Hill though. He runs really tough and has enough speed to be succesful at the college level.
  3. Stocco has really regressed from last year. Orr and Williams probably made him look better than he actually was. Got a call there. Make up call maybe. Regressed? No. Wisconsin graduated a bunch of key OL and WR's last year. If you've watched any of the games prior to this, you would of seen Stocco getting pressure constantly and WR's dropping balls. This is just a very young offensive unit for Wisconsin, but as of right now, they're playing Michigan very well. Sorry, this is the first time I've seen them (not in Wisconsin) and I haven't been impressed. I'll take you word for it considering I haven't seen them much.
  4. I have to say, good for the Badgers. They are playing them tough. This is the first time I've seen them this year. I'm very impressed with the defense.
  5. Ha, soon as I say that he makes a nice toss.

  7. Pretty hard to play against Michigan and the refs. OH MY GOD! ANOTHER BACK IN THE BACK NOT CALLED. WTF IS THIS!!
  8. This guy knows things. All tied up now. and how many flags are the refs going to pick up to benefit Michigan today. you'd think after the UofO-UO debacle they would be minding their Ps and Qs. That was complete trash. Also, nice blatant facemask there that wasn't called.
  9. This guy knows things. All tied up now.
  10. Badgers looking good so far. The tide might be turning though.
  11. Yep. Him and his wife both have. I sent him a message asking them to both keep picking against the Bears. The funny thing is that the Bears were his sleeper team every week last year. Now they are overrated or something. I think his wife picked the Bears last week. His wife was 11-5 ATS last week!
  12. How did I miss this?
  13. I know some are interested in Girardi for the Cubs, so here is some fuel for the fire. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2598362
  14. Count me in the camp who doesn't think this game will be that close. The Panthers completely manhandled the Vikings in the line play. I don't see how the Bears D-line won't be all over Brad Johnson. The Panthers sacked Johnson 5 times and picked him off once. Johnson was running for his life all day. I would expect a similar performance from the Bears line. Taylor doesn't really worry me all that much. On offense, I think the Bears will have success running the ball. The Vikings D Line is beat up (James out for the year. As a Wisconsin homer...color me shocked!!! ) and I think the word is out on Grossman so teams will have to play the Beloved more honest, as opposed to loading the box. Look for a more balanced attack from the Bears this week. I'm trying to temper my expectations, but I'm not seeing how the Vikings could win unless the Bears completely meltdown (which is possible). The Vikings are like "Bears-Lite." The teams are similar. They do everything the Bears do, the Bears just do everything better. 24-6 Bears

  16. Football Outsiders is a great site.
  17. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/features/talent Did he pick against them on tv too? I just wondered if he said anything specific about why he made this pick... Mike and Mike called him out on this asking "If you picked the Packers, Lions, and Vikings all over the Bears, you must think the Bears are the worst team in the NFCN, right?" I've never seen anyone back-pedal so fast. It was obvious he had no answer and was just throwing out random cliche's hoping that one would stick.
  18. Yeah, what a complete jerkoff. Seriously, that article made me hate Giambi with a white hot passion. That sweaty, roided up, meathead should learn to shut his trap. I'm surprised Arod didn't pop that cheater in the mouth.
  19. Same here. I wanted Marcedes Lewis so bad. I was so angry at that draft. However, we got a great returner in Hester, and what appears to be a good returner in Hester and Manning. Angelo and Lovie obviously knew something we didn't. Clark looks great, and utilizing TEs is what good offenses do. I love what the offense has shown so far. I don't want to claim an I told you so on this one, but I was never all that excited about getting a TE in the draft. I've always liked Desmond, and thought he was as good as the vast majority of NFL TEs. If they could have gotten a Gates, great, but I didn't see one out there. Boy, was I wrong about this game. I thought the line was way too big, did it end up hitting 9? That was a blast. I'll give credit where credit is due. You were 100% right on the TE situation. Well done. I went to the game and it was amazing. It was an absolute steamrolling. The Bears don't just look good, they look great.
  20. I love how the media is like, "He sucks this year! He's only batting .250!!!"
  21. I would think that what we see as the #1 priority will never be what Angelo sees. Didn't he have a reputation of ignoring O line in Tampa? First priority is extending Briggs, Vasher, and Tommie Harris. The D is the identity of the team, the strength of the team. They have to keep these guys to stay at such a dominant level. Even a minor drop off in defense could kill this team because the offense while improved, isn't near strong enough. Priority #2 is the O-Line. Hopefully one of these young receivers can establish themself as a big time player so priority #3 won't have to be a WR. i get the feeling that angelo isnt going to re-sign briggs. he's arrogant enough to think that he can replace briggs like he replaced colvin. You and me both. I don't think he'll be back after this year. I don't want to overpay Briggs if it means we can't resign someone like Tommy Harris. Tommy Harris > Briggs The contract that Briggs is asking for is absurd.
  22. The Oline was fine in pass protection and IMO, the lack of running game was in large part due to the terrible blocking by the fullback. McKie missed so many blocks. I can see why they drafted Runnels.
  23. I'm with you here. I was confused when I saw it. The Lions stink like hot garbage on the road though. Maybe that's where it is coming from.
  24. Something to make note of is Hester has moved up a spot on the Depth Chart. He is now Vasher's backup.
