    I think this is legit. It's absurd to hide an injury to "bluff". Why? what were the brewers going to do differently? This is just over-managing. And why would cub fans discuss the cubs and their manager? Weird stuff. On second thought I don't think it is over managing as much as it is over critiquing. if you aren't interested in discussing the issue but only what other people want to discuss, don't read the thread. very simple. I don't really care if the cubs announce it or not. To start talking about war strategy is silly. I'm interested in dicussing the issue - I'm still wondering why it is absurd to hide an injury.

    Are you guys really ignoring the fact that they "got the pitcher on the ropes" in large part by swinging at his first pitch? Hitters with a threat to do something swung early, that doesn't excuse guys like Neifi and Blanco being overly aggressive. Were they good pitches to hit or not? That's all I care about. Considering they were pitches thrown by a human, I doubt they were good ones to hit for Neifi and Blanco. This suggest that either of them MAY be able to hit from a machine (ie batting cage) which is simply preposterous. You guys are out of line. I'm sure there are a lot of girls T-Ball teams out there that would love to have Neifi on their team. Improved Is that like a Keith Hernandez type of thing?

    This years team looks like they can find a way to win a few games that maybe they shouldn't. The last couple of years they found new ways to lose those games.

    How so? He got two fly ball outs. It's not his fault The Village Idiot took out a better fielder in RF. Howry gets out of that inning with, at worst, one run scoring if Jones stays in the game. Funny stuff............Dusty gets heat both for playing JJ and for taking him out of the game :lol:

    I haven't seen any of the game, and am listening on the radio, but I will say that Guzman is looking good enough that Ron Santo actually appears to be paying attention. Nah you missed the part where he spent a couple of minutes talking about when he ran into Ernie Banks on a pop up.

    I think I heard 185 or 186 Thanks The question I have about that is why can't it just show up on the display on my receiver which game is on that channel. It's kind of a pain to scroll through all those channels to find the one game you are looking for.

    They're both playing lousy teams. At least Milw is losing At least Pitt's losing. We don' t want them making a late-season comeback. :wink: Cardinals anounceres just going on and on what a dangerous team the Pirates are.

    I am excited about Maddux's start and hope he can have a good to great season. However I do not expect him to contend for the Cy just because he is off to a 4-0 start.
