Hmm... wondering if the green screen corresponds with the launch of the new "WGN America"? -
I agree. The old screen is at least offset somewhat to the side, but now we have a huge green sign directly behind the hitter.

Yes, and the new one is very distracting... I hope it is only temporary. I still miss the days of being able to watch a game without seeing any ads behind the hitter.

In the old days, you weren't a real closer unless you could throw at least 115 mph. I hold everyone against the Juan Berenger standard, 103 MPH in RBI Baseball.

I honestly think Lee is on the down-side of his career. He will be 33 in September and it isn't just his offense that has taken a hit this year. He is still an above average defensive player, but he is making a lot more errors than he has in the past.

Hopefully it'll be Marshall or Hart (or Soriano or Darren Baker or Hillary Clinton) I'm still not convinced that Hart is starter material, but how many innings was he up to in Iowa?

Do you really think the White Sox are a good team? I think they are an average team in an underperforming divison, but sooner or later Cleveland or Detroit will put a streak together to get back into the race.

I think this type of a deal all depends on how Edmonds performs. If he is able to stay healthy and continue hitting as he has recently, that will free up Hendry to make a big trade for a starting pitcher rather than filling a hole in CF.
