For this team, I'm not so sure about that. What would you have put the Cubs odds of winning the World Series at going into the season, and how does that compare to the odds of winning 3 straight games against another championship-caliber team?

I have always hated when people complain the baseball games are too long, but damn, playoff games are long.

That's a "good enough" outing, but Jake was missing spots badly all game. He also got the benefit of several borderline calls in the early innings. The end result was good, but he still makes me nervous as hell for a potential Game 6.
