  1. Does anyone have Hendricks' ERA by inning? I know he has been much better lately, but I recall him having some first inning struggles earlier in the season. He would make me nervous as a 1-out or 1-inning guy, so hopefully he is only on the roster for emergency/extra innings purposes.
  2. Missing fastballs happens, but Willson's double play was completely predictable and preventable. Javy’s was a tough break. The garbage of this season falls on Willson and Schwarber massively shortening this lineup. And Bryant getting hurt. And Russell being a POS. It is disappointing that Schwarber hasn't become the hitter it looked like he would be, but his numbers were pretty typical Schwarber numbers. Willson and Russell's regressions definitely hurt, but I think Bryant's injury has been the single biggest factor. I just hope the problem can be fixed in the offseason, because Bryant not returning to near-MVP form would be a huge problem going forward.
  3. Willson’s awful at bat and Baez missing the fastball was the game Missing fastballs happens, but Willson's double play was completely predictable and preventable.
  4. Quintana had a good game, Chavez was outstanding, and the rest of the bullpen didn't completely horsefeathers the bed... Once again, the pathetic offense was what cost the Cubs the game. Taking Hader out of the picture, there is no excuse to only come up with 2 hits against the rest of those pitchers.
  5. At least Hader won't be able to pitch tomorrow.
  6. Just get a guy on somehow and then anything can happen. Come on Murphy - take a dive into a 97 mph fastball.
  7. Chavez didn't throw many pitches. I would expect him to be available.
  8. Arcia getting on 3 times in front of Cain and Yelich is not a recipe for success.
  9. Gonna need some big performances from the remaining bullpen guys. The Brewers definitely have the edge right now.
  10. I think it was too early to burn Gore, considering Happ is probably the next fastest got in the team.
  11. I think Rosario was only up for Yelich in case the Cubs needed to pinch hit for Q.
  12. Leave Q in. I don't want to start the bullpen roulette just yet.
  13. Listening on the radio, it sounded like more Brewers than Cubs fans.
