    Missing games? Who are we talking about, Alou or Drew? Would you like Drew if he stopped walking? I'd like Drew with he played more games. He's as soft as Charmin. Here's a guy who just doesn't fully use his talent.

    No, Ramirez isn't one. He never filed the paper work.. The offices of MLB are open M-F. He may have missed the exculsive deadline, but never filed. so, we still can sign 3 more. Free agency isn't automatic, you must file. Ramierez filed a few days after the filing period opened. At least a week ago. Ramirez files You are wrong. They had an exclusive period BEFORE he could file. You should read up on how it works.

My guess is the Murton, Theriot, Cedeno will all be gone for pitching. good ridance to cedeno. i very highly doubt murton or theriot are going anywhere. Really? Bet they are gone by spring for pitching.

    Patterson isn't close to being ready, Theriot is utility and Fontenot is a midget who should go in any deal anyone asks for him.

There was controversy in LA when he was signed because he wanted to play CF and Bradley was already playing that position. © PECOTA projects Derosa will be worth $650,000 in 2007, $575,000 in 2008, and $500,000 in 2009. That's more than $1 to $1.5 per. BP's numbers will be blown away by the contracts this year. The early signings will be the bargains. Baseball is flush with cash and will spend it this year with the labor deal in place. Just watch what durham, Pierre, Matthews and others will get. The Cubs will get one of the following 3 1) Soriano 2)Drew 3) CLee. I like DeRosa for 2 years at 2nd and year 3 as a utility player.

    Agreed, but Michaels would be in CF while the FA would be in LF (hopefully Drew/Soriano). Michaels will probably be non tendered.

    I am. The first year of a contract seems to be a problem with him. He'd be a great year to year guy, but he isn't. I want someone who plays all the time.

    Wow. That's pretty ridiculous. Matt Murton<<<< And Carlos pojects as a DH. Murton is NOT a 4th OF. He can hit WELL enough, and get on WELL ENOUGH to warrant being a LF. Besides...Murton is a bargain at his current contract, whereas Carlos Lee is more likely going to be a burden on some team salary. No question....Murton IS BETTER then Lee. On a high power team, he might be a good starter, but he reminds me of Jason Michaels and that is not special.

    I kind of like guys who play most of the time. Drew is still the most overrated guy out there.
