I hate to be nostalgic, but this league seemed to have no problem figuring out how to manage a roster on a weekly basis as recently as 3 or 4 years ago. Daily "do whatever you want" leagues take a lot of the intelligence out because you don't have to plan match ups, think ahead, check the weather forecast, etc. The only thing that may save that aspect is the limitation to 3 reserves. With that said, I'll be fine either way.

I'm pretty happy with a win considering I could only get 3 starts and my best pitcher left with the flu in the 3rd inning. Now I have to figure out what to do with all my starters getting 2 next week. It'll be just best guesses based on matchups...

I am aware of my situation with minors players who need to be moved to the minors. My problem is that I don't currently have a web browser capable of the change. Therefore, if this is an issue, please have someone with commish access move my minors players to the minors.

It works on the iPad. I think the problem with IE is IE7. IE8 upgrade should allow it to work. I had the same problem.

When can we move players around on our own roster besides drops ?

Damn. Now I have to wait to pick. btw - I added Martin back to my roster for the time being until I can get a group ruling on his eligibility based on the fact that he made his MLB debut last year and therefore should be eligible as a major leaguer. Please respond in the Martin thread, tho. Sorry about that, I went with Yelich. He doesn't appear to be owned.

I've not encountered this before. After 3 starts this Spring and 1 run allowed in those outings, how does CBS handle the probability that Daniel Bard becomes the 4th starter for Boston to start the season ? Does he immediately get SP eligibility ?

This is easily the weakest draft we've had in this league. I think the points total should drop to 1500 next year to promote a better draft with players moving around more year to year...

Off Topic - LCD, LED, Plasma....what's your preference

Plasma is dead technology. It also has a shorter shelf life and if you have a problem, there is no fixing it. LCD / OLED is the safest bet. One amazing thing about LCD's right now is that most manufacturers are selling them at a slight loss. http://www.economist.com/node/21543035 -
I'm less negative towards basing it on 7/31, because folks will tank after 7/31 if their team sucks. I would like to propose that the order be based on points scored. Wins and losses, while they have meaning in this H2H league, are not the ultimate judge of team strength. I propose that starting in 2013, the draft be based on points scored which also gets rid of these stupid tiebreakers.
