I'm not trying to start anything, but Marty Brennamen said it was Hendry who told him that Hill, CP, and Mitre was too steep of a price for Dunn. My wife and I both heard it listening to the game today (She's a Reds fan unfortunately). Hal McCoy, the HOF Writer for the Dayton Daily News, agreed that it was too much to give up for Dunn. It may sound crazy, but this is what transpired. You could hear Marty yell "bye Jim" right before he went into the story on the air. As crazy as this all sounds, I'm 100% positive this is what I heard. McCoy loves Hill, and he has stated this in the past in some of his columns. That's all I got... This is the article you were talking about, I posted it in a Kearns thread a while back: http://www.daytondailynews.com/rec/content/sports/daily/0710bbinsider.html
