The Predictions Contest prizes are for premium members, though everyone can enter. The HR Derby prize is for whoever finishes first (Wekse in '07).

MacPhail was on the Baltimore spring training game broadcast today. He said that Hendry had called him yesterday 'to see how everything was going' and that Hendry was sure to mention that DeRosa was expected to recover quickly from the procedure he had today.

Open up the URL into one tab and just hit control+alternate+T. You can do it before 9:30 and use the "reload all tabs" function of tab mix plus, as well. It'll take up a lot of memory to begin with since they'll be loading at the same time, but they'll begin to stagger out a bit pretty quickly. Where is the "reload all tabs" option? If I think someone is being irrational, I'm going to reply to it. Hell, I've even joked about it like everyone else. I don't even go to OH that often. But the idea that posters like those guys would be laughed off of NSBB or banned is so far from reality that it's absurd. Come on, now. Who cares? They aren't at NSBB, and it's not an issue. Obviously David. Obviously.

I appreciate that some of you have taken a lot of time and effort to engage with posters at another messageboard. You need to realize that criticism is a fact of life on the internet -- I don't know that anyone Cubs-related has avoided being criticized on this board. Also, people will have a sense of humor and JOKE about all the rumors and sources that haven't panned out to date, no matter how many stamp their feet in anger over it. Take a deep breath. Peace and Big Bird aren't being hoisted up on a cross (as disturbing an image as that is). Please realize that not everyone here is invested in what happens at the big OH as are those of you who are spending time there.

I see plenty of joking around about the Trade That Hasn't Happened Yet, but it's stretch for me to find 'vitriol' being spewed out over the last few pages. You grant them deference for their status. Others here do not. Since, as you point out, they aren't posting here, I doubt their feelings will be bruised over someone joking that a fictional grandfather's barber is as reliable a source as they are.
