    Carroll on XM said that Kerry would be making an appearance in AA before joining the team. Carroll also said that he hadn't heard of any health issues or problems so far and said Kerry's turnaround is remarkable. I tuned in just in time to hear him talk about Kerry; I don't know how recent his info is about a AA appearance. eta: jaxxradio posted in the minor leagues forum that Kerry would be pitching for the Smokies, so I guess that's confirmed now.

    This seems as good a forum as any for this announcement: We're very pleased to announce that Transmogrified Tiger is the newest addition to the NSBB Mod Team. He's been an excellent poster for longer than seems possible, and we're excited that he agreed to Modzilla's request (then again, who could say no to Modzilla?). Many thanks to TT for his ongoing contributions to this site, and many thanks to all of you for making this a great discussion community for Cubs baseball!

    Ballgames are fine for kids, but I've got to agree that a baby and the bleachers are not a good mix. Too many drunks, crowded, complete exposure to the elements, and the elevators are not at all convenient, so you'll be traipsing up and down the stairs and/or ramps with baby in tow.

    Hopefully it can be transferred back once 80% of the posts that had nothing to do with the subject matter are cut out. I don't have time to do that tonight; perhaps another mod does.
