    Hey Serena, is there any way I can figure out which players are going to which game? Thanks. Unless they mention it in the game notes, you pretty much have to wait for the lineups to be announced. Sometimes the other team's game notes will give more info than the Cubs' notes will.

    Gameday Audio? It was always a subscription service. No, pitch by pitch gameday.Seriously? They don't have true pitch by pitch for spring training games.

    Rusch against Eric Milton won't be the tv game of the week, but I don't think the Cubs get blown out in this game. The comment is for the makeup of the 4-man in general. As I mentioned, I can see the logic in terms of who pitches April 5.

    I'd like to see a Korea/Cuba final I know there's another thread about this ... but it would be more fun if it were Korea or Japan vs the DR or Cuba for each game next round. Instead it's Korea - Japan & DR -Cuba for the final.

    Simple, ain't it? I guess so. I wouldn't mind if the Cubs tried out some spring training BB hats. Or even RISP hats.

    I can predict that as well. Sure, I'd trade him for Brian Roberts. Would you trade him for Luis Matos?

    What's your opinion? Should he be traded because of his comments? It's easy to say he's greasing his way out of town. I agree. I disagree that he should be traded for the likes of Matos, though.

    Since there's apparently no market for him, trading him for peanuts would seem to be equally not very smart, especially if you picked up his option. Even if you are human.

    Other than Zambrano and Maddux, I can't think of anyone who has obviously invested in off-season preparation to the contentment of Cubdom. Zambrano has said that the WBC provided an extra incentive to him, and Maddux is entering a contract year (despite the Cubs seemingly urging him to retire). I question the competence of the Cubs far more than the toughness of the individuals.

    That's the slant of local sports talk radio: 1) The Cubs are lying. 2) Prior is a wimp.

    I like Korea's powder blue unis and K hats. (which I may have previously mentioned)

    I don't care about Walker's feelings. I care that the Cubs seem to value a happy-happy-joy-joy clubhouse over things like winning.

    He's been injured twice publicly, both time being no-doubters (oddly, both times I was there, both Friday games). The first, when he collided with Giles, still represents the stupidest managing decision I've ever seen, when Dusty sent him out to keep on pitching. Nice. One of many reasons why -- if I were him -- I wouldn't trust my health to the Cubs organization. The second was the line drive off the elbow. Both times, he came back faster than most 'experts' thought he would. I recall a lot of ESPN yelling heads saying that his career was likely over after the line drive. That said, I don't think this is the end of the story. I'm not ready to write him off though or say he's not 'tough enough'. If it's a question of him being off mechanically or whatever, and that leading to problems, maybe it's time to call in someone other than Rothschild.
