Been doing some research this am and I'm leaning with.... Deshawn Watson vs. the Ravens Miles Sanders vs. Bears Keenan Allen vs. Titans Pickings are slim at WR now. Everyone is a hit and miss fantasy guy each week. I could change to Michael Pittman, but he's really been disappointing this year. Indy's line might be worse than the Bears. I'm guessing Matt Ryan wished he retired. I could go with Devanta Smith at WR, but I still want to stay away from teammates in the same line up. I still have quite a few RB options if I decided to put Smith in there vs. the Bears. Stevenson, A. Jones, Pollard, Elliott, Montgomery to name a few. If this were a contest that rewarded you for having a top line up, I'd worry about uncorrelated plays like RB-WR on the same team. But this is the exact opposite. I wouldn't go out of my way to do it, but I'd actually be looking for opportunities to do RB-WR on the same team. It makes it more likely for you to land in the middle of the remaining entries, which is a win. Sanders-Devanta seems like a great play to me. Interesting thought. Not sure I've seen any teams do it so far, but I also haven't really been looking that closely at the other team's patterns. Brisker and Gordon are expected back this week with fresh legs, which was also weighing a bit on my decision. I think I'm most concerned about QB. Even though it's suggested that Watson is expected to have a big game against the Ravens, the Ravens D has been rather bullish since they traded for Roquan, minus the game against Jacksonville. Granted, they've played rather crappy teams/QB's during that span, but that's kinda where Cleveland falls at the moment along with a division rivalry. I have to outguess my opponents, who likely have rather similar remaining players. Maybe they go Devanta and Sanders. This is the hardest week for me to choose so far. Here are my QB choices this week: Geno Smith vs. SF Trevor Lawrence vs. Dallas Goff vs. Jets Dimes vs. Commanderskins Brady vs. Bengals Carr vs. Patriots Some guy I've never heard of (ATL) vs. Saints Ryan vs. Vikings Tannehill vs. Chargers Dalton vs. Falcons Davis Mills vs. Chiefs Prescott vs. Jags Mac Jones vs. Raiders Heineke vs. Giants Mayfield vs. Packers Somebody (Jets) vs. Lions Somebody (Steelers) vs. Panthers Somebody (9ers) vs. Seahawks McCoy vs. Denver Darnold vs. Steelers Rypien vs. Cardinals Cardinals QB? vs. Denver Maybe this is the week to go with Dallas (Prescott). Dallas is now tied with the Vikings for the #2 seed. They can't be messing around and lose. Maybe Prescott, Devanta Smith and Miles Sanders. Matt Ryan is expected to have a decent day against the Vikings, but will he survive another sack or does he care to try to beat anybody now? My other thought is that I do need to have some playoff QB options once this battle goes into the playoffs. If there is a way to still have Prescott, Brady, along with a few others (Geno, Tannehill, Daniel Jones, Heineke, Tannehill), that would potentially help me in these final weeks if I make it that far.
