I think Poles wants some of those available DE's, but they are probably holding out for a team that gives them a better chance at playoffs. There was talk today that they are interested in bringing Quinn back, but he's upset about being traded in the first place. Well, we did trade him to a team that had a chance to win the Super Bowl, so he shouldn't be that bitter.
A combination of Quinn and Yannick (I'm not even going to try to guess how his last name is spelled) seems like a nice complement to all of the other moves made to put a respectable defense on the field. Poles may just have to wait it out until these guys realize that they cost more than any of the playoff hopefuls can afford to pay.
Adding those two guys (or Clark or the like) gives the Bears a chance of being a playoff team, IMO. I'm also wondering if Poles is holding out for teams that still want to add veteran help at other positions where it frees up a younger DE via trade. Basically, I'm trusting that the DE room is not complete. If it is, it's going to be very tough once again for the secondary.
