I agree with your FFF assessment re: Webster and Cohen. Cohen sucks. Max Bretos is the MLS announcer and I like his goal calls just because they are so ridiculously over the top. The dude himself is ridiculously over the top. yyyyYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSsssssss is what a closed captioned sub title of his calls would look like.

I can't stand Twellman. Everything from his unnecessarily tight jersey and short shorts to his constant penchant for missing complete sitters. Can't win an aerial challenge to save his life either. They only reasoning I can see is that other than Clint there is zero experience up front and there really isn't any difference between him and someone like Josh Wolff who would be the alternative.

Twellman and Guzan added to the roster. I like Guzan and am glad he got the call up. He is Chivas USA's goalie and is apparently on Aresenal's radar as a potential signing.

I did hear his name rumored with another job this off season. Maybe he is interested in coming back in some capacity. That would suck. In what way. If he went to the Hawks. I think he was rumored to be going to the Leafs in some way. I wish he never quit coaching the Wings. Of course I am sure the Blues, Canadians, Sabres and Penguins fans all feel the same way. I'm a Blues fan who wants him nowhere near a Central team, let alone a rival.

Kaka with Arsenal would be insane. They are so loaded on young talent right now, and Kaka's pace and flow would fit right in with them as well. That would be seriously illegal. And Henry would feel dumb for leaving, like, the best team conceivable. Good thing Arsenal can't afford him. Not only that, but they'd be crazy to sign him even if they could. I don't want to hurt your cute little master card thing, but Carpenter's is way off - 4 year's 55 mil left (option year 1mil buyout included). Considering we should get some production out of it, it's not a terrible loss. Similar situation with Mulder's 6.5 mil next year although I'm far less confident we will get any production from it. I've always wondered what I would do if I went to a baseball game between two teams that I didn't care about. In this case, I would probably go and just pretend that it's the world series. living in dc and detroit the last 8 years, i've done this frequently. i tend to drink a lot.
