    He can fill in at the point, create his own shot, handle the ball, spread the floor from the weak side and hit big shots. Aka, everything the Bulls not named Derrick cannot do. So unless you enjoy the constant, predictable isolation sets our offense relies on now, you should be on board for a Jamal Crawford acquisition.

    I'm just going on what Jason Goff said on the Boers & Bernstein show. That Crawford wants to play on a championship contender in a city he feels comfortable in and is willing to take less to do so and prefers Chicago. Considering he's just what the Bulls need, the Knicks aren't going to want him again and Miami has dire needs in the front court, the Bulls should at least make a serious attempt to make it happen.

    This offense has been ugly all year. Thibs is a cynical coach on offense. He's totally willing to abandon all hope of variety early, which is fine by me. Some of those clear outs in the 4th with everyone not #1 hanging on the weak-side high post were effective but too gimmicky to work consistently. Bottom line, Derrick either has to be unconscious hot or we don't win when no one else can score. Lost in the loss, Omer was really effective defending the hoop. He had one high profile blunder when he went to help trying to prevent Korver from being stomped on by Horford, but that was forgivable. His activity closing out and showing high as well as contesting shots without drawing fouls is better than Jo. Certainly better than Kurt Thomas. I agree that we need to see more Taj too, but he needs to help Thibs out by not getting two fouls before he checks into the game. Also, Jamal Crawford is going to look great in a Bulls jersey again next year.

    It sucks that Hernandez is the best thing since Hugo Sanchez and all, but at least he seems like not a bastard. He's not a dirty player. Then again, strange things happen to dudes when they put on los tricolores.

    As entertaining as it can be to watch IMB and SSR cause this Bulls thread to eat itself, if you deleted every hyperbolic Rose isn't the MVP post and every stupid, puppy lovesick response to it, we'd have like 10 pages of actual basketball discussion. It's hard to tell Bulls fans how much they suck at knowing basketball when they're too busy crying about a beloved player not being beloved enough by other fans bases.

    Actually it's like some of you started watching basketball this season. This is the playoffs, teams try hard that didn't in the regular season. The Bulls played at their top gear all year. They're not any different now than they were when they were beating Miami & Boston & Tom Thibodeau didn't forget how to coach. This is the playoffs. Contrary to legend, the Jordan Bulls had plenty of [expletive] games just like this in the playoffs. This team isn't gonna steamroll anybody.

    Doing his daily reminder to everyone that he isn't Derrick Rose. Believe it's league mandated. Also, Durant is a more talented Larry Bird, but I wonder about his desire/selfishness. Maybe Russ needs to go to force KD to be more selfish.

    Javi Morales broken ankle on a bad tackle. For those scoring at home, that makes 3 of the 5 or so best midfielders in the league out for the year from horrendous butchering tackles. All 3 from contenders. Weird and unfortunate.

    Not getting Korver enough minutes/giving Bogans too many. Kyle Korver got WORKED by Crawford and Johnson during his minutes. Crawford and Johnson hit a bunch of bs. Korver needs to play more in general and more with Rose in particular. Korver was a +17 in 16 minutes last night, and Crawford and Johnson hit jumpers over every defender going against them all night. I'll work on a longer response to your reply when I get a chance.     I think the Bulls fans should worry that their team lost homecourt advantage to a team starting Jon Koncak The good news is, if we lose this year we'll be good for awhile. If the Celtics lose this year, the only thing they'll be able to look forward to is discount bus fares and early bird specials. (get it? Because they are old!) Perhaps you didn't hear, we acquired Jeff Green. Perk ain't old. He just looks old.

    Alternatively, Lebron's got you so worked up that you think he even approaches the Celtics on the despicability scale. Which as a Bulls fan, makes zero sense whatsoever. It's LeBron's team that's going to kick the Bulls ass, it's LeBron who is teaming up with his natural rival with the intention of challenging Jordan's legacy and it's LeBron could prevent our greatest player since Jordan from ever winning a title. The Celtics are not a threat. What you guys are doing is akin to giving Hitler dap in 1939 just because you hate Poles.

    I'd love to hear some specific examples of Thibs being overmatched or over his head or whatever. That's kind of what the word defense means. I'm very confused trying to discern what exactly your issue with Thibs strategy is. His greatest strength as a coach is scouting opposing offenses and getting his player to implement the game plan and then making necessary in-game tweaks. So play tough defense, close out fast and have Derrick drive to the hoop more? Well one of those things isn't happening and that's because Derrick has been significantly more tentative since the ankle injury. Unless Thibs is a faith healer, I'm not so sure there's much else he can do. This has been a very flawed team all year. An unlikely 1 seed and a roster that delivered one season quicker than everyone expected. Hopefully Derrick starts penetrating the interior and getting to the line soon or we will not win a title this season.

    They really missed Beckerman's link up play and calmness. Those clever little triangles weren't there in the MF tonight. Tough loss to swallow and I'm not even a supporter.
